Supervisa y coordina las actividades contables y financieras para asegurar el buen funcionamiento del Departamento y el cumplimiento de sus metas. Deberes y responsabilidades esenciales

  • Desarrollo e Implantación de Políticas: Asiste en el desarrollo e implantación de políticas y procedimientos contables y asegura el cumplimiento con nuevos procedimientos. Ciclo Completo de Contabilidad y Reportes Financieros: Supervisa el ciclo completo de contabilidad, incluyendo cierres contables, preparación de estados financieros y reportes contables (Annual y Quarterly Statements), y preparación de informes para terceros. Presupuesto y Gastos: Supervisa el proceso de presupuesto anual, revisa reportes de gastos mensuales, investiga variaciones y participa en la distribución de costos. Apoyo en Impuestos y Presentaciones: Da apoyo en la preparación de impuestos, incluyendo income tax returns y property tax, y en la preparación de presentaciones para AM Best & S&P. Controles Internos y Documentación: Establece y mejora sistemas de controles internos, documenta procesos, y asegura la integridad y organización de documentos contables. Preparación para Auditorías: Coordina la preparación de informes y material requerido para auditorías externas y asegura el cumplimiento con fechas de presentación. Manejo de Personal: Supervisa directamente a su unidad, incluyendo reclutamiento, adiestramiento, planificación, asignación de tareas, evaluación de desempeño, motivación, disciplina y manejo de conflictos.

Requisitos

  • Bachillerato en Administración de Empresas con concentración en Contabilidad y siete (7) años de experiencia en contabilidad, incluyendo supervisión de personal.
  • Experiencia con el sistema contable Sungard preferible.
  • Habilidad para definir problemas, analizar información, y tomar decisiones.
  • Destrezas en liderazgo, proactividad, y manejo de múltiples tareas.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y colaboración.
  • Amplio conocimiento en el manejo de sistemas de computadora y teclado.
  • Bilingüe en español e inglés.
