Market Intelligence, Research & Strategic Insights

Are you a research-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and an interest in market trends and business development?

We are looking for a Market Intelligence & Research Analyst to provide market data, competitor analysis, and research insights that support commercial decision-making and identify new business and export opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing research on the local market.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and product developments.
  • Analyse customer demand trends and prepare regular market intelligence reports.
  • Identify potential new business opportunities and export markets.
  • Support the Commercial Manager and Sales Team with data, insights, and presentations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of customers, prospects, and competitors.
  • Produce monthly market reports and recommendations for management review.
  • Report regularly to the Commercial Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in market research or business analysis is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling.
  • Prior experience in industrial products (such as ethanol, chemicals, or related sectors) is an advantage.
  • Results-oriented and aligned with a performance-driven culture.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to present data clearly and professionally.
  • Business reporting, visualization, and dashboard development
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple research tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Critical thinking with a structured, problem-solving approach
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
