Visa Advisory & Customer Support

Are you customer-focused, detail-oriented, and interested in helping travellers navigate their visa applications? Our client is looking for a motivated Visa Consultant to join its Ghana team and support customers with their visa requirements and application processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand customers’ travel plans and advise them on appropriate visa requirements.
  • Provide accurate information regarding visa eligibility, documentation, application procedures, and processing timelines.
  • Assist customers in preparing and organizing visa documentation.
  • Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Prepare and process visa applications within agreed timelines.
  • Upsell and attach relevant holiday and travel packages to visa applications, based on customers’ travel requirements.
  • Coordinate with embassies, consulates, visa application centres, and relevant authorities when required.
  • Visit consulates, embassies, and visa application centres as required for application processing and follow-ups.
  • Visit clients when required to support documentation, application requirements, or other visa-related needs.
  • Track visa applications and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Follow up on pending applications and resolve documentation-related queries.
  • Manage the post-sales process for visa applicants, ensuring timely follow-ups, updates, and support throughout the visa application journey.
  • Maintain accurate records of visa applications, customer information, and supporting documents.
  • Handle customer queries professionally through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Travel Consultant teams regarding visa requirements for customers.
  • Stay updated on changes in visa rules, immigration requirements, documentation, and procedures for different destinations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and application-related information.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in any discipline. A degree or diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field will be an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of experience in visa consultancy, travel, immigration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of visa application processes and documentation will be an advantage.
  • Experience or interest in travel package sales, upselling, or cross-selling will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple applications and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel locally to visit clients, consulates, embassies, and visa application centres as required.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated with changing visa and immigration requirements.
