We are looking to hire a

Accounting & Logistics Support Associate - Late shift

Based in Thessaloniki | Ref: ALA - 1026

Its Greek subsidiary, VIPA Hellas, has the country headquarters in Thessaloniki (G&G Office Complex, Mediterranean Cosmos area) and employs more than 300 people in Greece, achieving constant dynamic growth in both operations and manpower. We are looking for a professional based in Thessaloniki, who will be working on a shift of 15:00 -23:00, on a non-fixed contract. Our office is located in the city centre.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor, check and approve current logistics fees (disputed invoices) on the disputed platform
  • Review supplier invoices to align payments
  • Regularly check contracts with shipping lines to proceed with disputed invoice handling
  • Communicate daily with shipping lines to sort out disputed invoice cases
  • Daily collaborate with other team members to obtain necessary information or evidence to handle disputed cases
  • Communicate with the freight procurement team to sort out any issues regarding disputed invoices and ensure flow of information
  • Provide weekly reports to the freight procurement team on pending dispute cases
  • Supervise the statement of accounts (SOA) for all logistics partners, ensuring that we remain within credit limits to avoid exceeding them and thus ensuring the uninterrupted flow of operations

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or similar field
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics or accounting field
  • Excellent skills in English language, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skill/ time management skill
  • Problem-solving skill
  • Attention to detail skill
