Wat draag je bij

Time4You biedt wekelijkse groepsbijeenkomsten en voorlichtingen voor kinderen tussen de 8 en 12 jaar. Samen met het team bereid je een thema en werkvormen voor, zoals spellen, creatieve activiteiten of een groepsgesprek. Tijdens de bijeenkomst bespreek je het thema, geef je informatie én krijgen kinderen de ruimte om vragen te stellen en hun verhaal te delen. Met Time4You creëren we een veilige omgeving voor vluchtelingenkinderen die in asielzoekerscentra of noodopvang wonen. Als belangenbehartiger zetten wij ons in voor de rechten van het kind en versterken we spelenderwijs hun veerkracht en weerbaarheid. Samen met het team zorg je voor een veilige en positieve plek waar kinderen kunnen groeien.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je bereidt de wekelijkse bijeenkomsten inhoudelijk voor en faciliteert deze samen met je team (2-4 personen).
  • De bijeenkomst vindt plaats op een vaste dag in de week. In totaal moet je rekening houden met een beschikbaarheid van ongeveer vier uur per week.
  • Als begeleider ben je ook verantwoordelijk voor het wekelijks bijhouden van de presentielijsten.
  • Je hebt een signalerende rol, waarbij je bijzonderheden noteert over de locatie en het welzijn van de kinderen. Deze worden gebruikt om de belangen van de kinderen nog beter te kunnen behartigen.

Wat vragen wij?

  • Beschikbaarheid: wekelijks op woensdag vanaf 14:30.
  • Affiniteit met kinderen in deze leeftijdsgroep.
  • De intentie om minimaal 6 maanden beschikbaar te zijn.
  • Bereidheid om deel te nemen aan een aantal trainingen van VWN.
  • Het is een pré wanneer je kennis/ervaring hebt met begeleiding en/of ontwikkeling van kinderen.
  • Je vindt het leuk om activiteiten te organiseren.
  • Je hebt gespreks- en sociale vaardigheden die een begeleider van nature bezit.
  • Je bent betrouwbaar en je kunt goed samenwerken.
