Help vluchtelingen bij huisvesting en de eerste integratiestappen in de gemeente Apeldoorn

Bij verhuizen komt veel kijken. Dat geldt zeker voor vluchtelingen die voor het eerst in een Nederlandse gemeente komen wonen. Steek je graag je handen uit je mouwen om iemand goed op weg te helpen? Dan zoeken we jou!

Wat ga je doen? Als maatschappelijk begeleider ondersteun je vluchtelingen die nieuw zijn in de gemeente. Aan de hand van een checklist vragen jullie samen voorzieningen aan, zoals een uitkering, inrichtingskrediet en toeslagen. Ook help je bij het regelen van een huisarts, school, energiemaatschappij, verzekeringen, internetaansluiting etc. Je geeft uitleg over hoe zaken in Nederland geregeld zijn en neemt regelmatig samen de post door. De duur van de begeleiding is meestal acht maanden. De voortgang houd je bij in een cliëntenregistratiesysteem. Je hebt een coachende houding en stimuleert cliënten stappen te maken naar zelfredzaamheid.

Wat vragen wij?

  • Beschikbaarheid van minimaal twee dagdelen per week.
  • Een betrokken en respectvolle houding naar vluchtelingen en collega’s.
  • Inlevingsvermogen, geduld en overtuigingskracht.
  • Computervaardigheden.
  • Bereidheid om trainingen te volgen en je aan de richtlijnen en afspraken van VluchtelingenWerk te houden.
  • Beheersing van het Nederlands op minimaal B2 niveau.
  • Beheersing van een andere taal zoals Arabisch, Tigrinya, of Farsi/Dari is een pré.
  • Vermogen om creatief te communiceren, denk aan non-verbaal, vertaal apps, tekenen, simpel en langzaam spreken. Onze cliënten zijn bezig met het leren van het Nederlands. Soms spreken de cliënten Engels.
