The posting

Wat draag je bij? Als juridisch begeleider VVA biedt je ondersteuning aan mensen tijdens hun asielprocedure. Je bestudeert het asieldossier grondig volgens een hiervoor ontwikkelde methode en analyseert in hoeverre er een beschermingsnoodzaak is. Je zet dit, waar nodig en mogelijk, om in concrete acties. Zo draag je bij aan een eerlijke asielprocedure en maak je het verschil voor vluchtelingen in extra kwetsbare situaties.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je bestudeert het asieldossier van de cliënt en maakt hiervan een analyse.
  • Je voert zonodig gesprekken met de cliënt over het vluchtrelaas en onderhoudt het contact.
  • Je hebt contact met asieladvocaten.
  • Je onderzoekt bijbehorende landeninformatie en jurisprudentie.
  • Je zorgt voor een juiste administratieve verwerking van de ontvangen dossierstukken.
  • Je overlegt met de teamleider waar de eventuele mogelijkheden liggen en bespreekt de te ondernemen acties.

Wat vragen wij?

  • Beschikbaarheid van minimaal 6-8 uur per week (1 dag). Op dit moment zijn we specifiek op zoek naar aanvulling voor ons team in de buurt van Den Helder (werkdag in overleg) en Schagen (werkdag in overleg).
  • Je hebt affiniteit en/of ervaring met (asiel)recht.
  • Je hebt een HBO werk- en denkniveau.
  • Je maakt deel uit van een fijn team, maar kunt ook zelfstandig werken.
  • Je hebt de intentie om je voor minimaal een jaar te verbinden aan deze rol.
  • Je hebt een respectvolle houding naar cliënten, collega’s en ketenpartners.
  • Je beschikt over empathisch vermogen, kunt goed analyseren en doorvragen.
  • Je kunt goed met een computer werken.
  • Je bent bereid trainingen te volgen van VluchtelingenWerk Nederland.
  • Je houdt je aan de richtlijnen en afspraken van VluchtelingenWerk Nederland.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft Nederlands op minimaal B2-niveau.
