Como Managing Director, liderarás el destino estratégico, operativo, comercial y financiero de la Terminal, formando parte del Management Team y rindiendo cuentas directamente al Consejo de Administración (Board of Directors). Desempeñarás un rol fundamental en la consecución de nuestras ambiciones globales, salvaguardando la seguridad de los procesos y construyendo tanto el futuro de la organización como el tuyo propio.

Tu Misión

El Managing Director encabeza las decisiones estratégicas de la Terminal y asume la corresponsabilidad de su dirección integral y desarrollo sostenible. Es responsable de establecer y ejecutar estrategias que aseguren el cumplimiento de los objetivos de negocio, la rentabilidad financiera (gestión de OPEX y CAPEX), la excelencia en seguridad operativa (QHSSE / VIMS / SCP) y el crecimiento mediante el desarrollo de nuevos negocios en el sector de gas natural y GNL. Asimismo, representa a la compañía al más alto nivel institucional y corporativo, promoviendo una cultura de valores, cumplimiento ético y desarrollo continuo del talento humano en un entorno altamente regulado e industrialmente complejo.

¿Qué estarás haciendo?

  • Liderazgo Estratégico y Operativo: Dirigir, coordinar y controlar las operaciones de la terminal bajo los lineamientos fijados por la Asamblea de Accionistas y el Consejo de Administración, asegurando la excelencia operativa y el cumplimiento de metas corporativas.
  • Gobierno Corporativo y Gestión Financiera: Definir y ejecutar el Business Plan anual, optimizar la rentabilidad del negocio y supervisar los presupuestos de gasto corriente y capital (OPEX ~13MUSD/CAPEX~2 MUSD) conforme al Manual de Autoridades (MoA).
  • Desarrollo Comercial y Nuevos Negocios: Administrar el modelo comercial y la estrategia de precios de los servicios de la terminal (almacenamiento, descarga, regasificación y send-out); liderar negociaciones complejas de contratos a largo plazo con clientes clave y evaluar oportunidades de expansión e inversiones estratégicas (servicios small-scale LNG, distribución por autotanques, bunkering, integración a generación eléctrica).
  • Representación Legal e Institucional: Fungir como Representante Legal de la empresa ante autoridades federales, estatales, reguladores del sector energético, clientes, socios estratégicos, comunidades y sindicatos.
  • Cultura QHSSE y Gestión de Crisis: Promover y verificar la cultura integral de seguridad, salud, protección patrimonial y medio ambiente bajo el sistema VIMS y procesos críticos de seguridad (SCP). Liderar la respuesta estratégica ante contingencias operativas, emergencias ambientales o interrupciones en la cadena de suministro de gas.
  • Liderazgo de Personas: Dirigir, inspirar y desarrollar al equipo directivo de la terminal (Asset Management, Finanzas, Recursos Humanos, PFSO) y consolidar una cultura organizacional orientada a la seguridad, la ética y los resultados.

¿Te suena familiar?

  • Formación académica: Licenciatura o Ingeniería (concluida y con cédula profesional), complementada indispensablemente con estudios de posgrado (MBA, Alta Dirección o afines) y especialización en gestión de proyectos.
  • Trayectoria comprobada: Al menos 10 años de sólida experiencia en liderazgo ejecutivo dentro del sector energético, hidrocarburos, gas natural/GNL o industria pesada afín.
  • Capacidades financieras y comerciales: Mínimo 10 años de experiencia dirigiendo planeación estratégica, gobierno corporativo, gestión de OPEX/CAPEX, desarrollo de negocios e interlocución/negociación contractual de alto nivel con clientes y entidades gubernamentales.
  • Solidez en operaciones y seguridad industrial: Experiencia directiva supervisando operaciones complejas, análisis de riesgos de procesos y estricto cumplimiento normativo/ambiental.
  • Competencias clave: Visión estratégica de largo plazo, liderazgo transformacional, enfoque implacable en rentabilidad/resultados, adaptabilidad ante la dinámica del mercado y los más altos estándares éticos.
  • Idiomas: Dominio bilingüe fluido del idioma inglés y español (oral, escrito y de negociación ejecutiva).
