About Us

At We., we've spent decades at the intersection of technology and humanity, bridging the gap between what businesses create and how people experience those creations. We've learned that beneath even the most unruly situations — whether it's a global crisis, an emerging technology, or a sweeping organizational change—lies a simple human need. That need could be for trust, connection, safety, or a sense of purpose. But it’s always there. And it is only by uncovering these truths that we can make real, meaningful progress.

About The Role:

The Account Director will create, manage, and execute communications strategy and media engagement for Microsoft's business, helping translate complex technical issues into clear, impactful stories. This includes partnering with clients to define and evolve the future of our ongoing innovation, research, and scientific discovery storytelling program – including alignment to broader business needs and cross-company communications and marketing efforts.

The Account Director is responsible for day-to-day client management and satisfaction, serving as the point of strategic integration and counsel for the team. This position will manage, plan, and execute on earned and owned media programs. • Engage with key, senior level media/influencers, including on proactive pitches and corporate issues.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging issues; translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations for clients and teams.
  • Write and edit a wide range of communications materials, including pitches, media materials like FAQs, executive briefing documents, reactive statements, and coverage reports.
  • Oversee staff resources across team and develop budget/utilization management and resourcing skills.
  • Manage career development and performance of direct reports, while holding the team accountable to demonstrating agency values. Manage up to senior staff on crisis issues, and client/team satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
