The posting

About Us

At We., we've spent decades at the intersection of technology and humanity, bridging the gap between what businesses create and how people experience those creations. We've learned that beneath even the most unruly situations — whether it's a global crisis, an emerging technology, or a sweeping organizational change—lies a simple human need. That need could be for trust, connection, safety, or a sense of purpose. But it’s always there. And it is only by uncovering these truths that we can make real, meaningful progress.

About the Role

The Senior Account Executive will support communications strategy and media engagement for Microsoft's business, helping protect and strengthen brand reputation by translating complex issues into clear, credible narratives for key audiences. This role involves managing day-to-day client needs, supporting PR campaigns, producing reports, and fostering strong media and influencer relationships. Ideal candidates are proactive communicators with strong analytical writing and relationship-management skills and a passion for helping organizations communicate clearly in moments that matter.

Responsibilities

  • Support high-volume media cycles across corporate issues and company news announcements, helping coordinate responses and drive execution in fast-paced environments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with reporters, industry influencers, and content creators, identifying opportunities to place stories and strengthen client visibility.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients and internal stakeholders, providing informed recommendations, tracking action items, and helping ensure workstreams remain on schedule.
  • Draft and develop a wide range of communications materials, including pitches, media materials like FAQs, executive briefing documents, reactive statements, and coverage reports.
  • Support news planning operations and own production of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables, coordinating inputs across teams, tracking updates, and delivering accurate, client-ready reports
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging issues; translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations for clients and teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across multiple client, agency, and partner teams to gather information, align messaging, and support program execution.
  • Support integrated earned, owned, social, and influencer campaigns that advance business objectives and support reputation goals, by coordinating deliverables and tracking performance
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations during planning sessions and brainstorms, helping identify creative storytelling opportunities and new approaches to audience engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in integrated communications/PR, preferably in an agency setting and/or within an applicable industry. Understanding of communications workflows.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with corporate image, issues/crisis management, and/or strategic communications across multiple audience segments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel) and experience using AI tools like Copilot.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation, and ability to establish a consulting relationship with clients.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
