We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Sales Support Associate I to provide
pre-sales and after-sales support to customers and sales managers for APAC. This role is central to account
and order management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless coordination across functional
partners and global teams.
You will act as a bridge between sales, supply chain, and operations, managing customer accounts,
processing orders, and resolving escalations — all while driving efficiency and contributing to process
improvements.
Essential Job Functions
Account Management
- Set up and maintain customer accounts and details in CRM/ERP systems, (Oracle EBS/HTML/Salesforce).
- Ensure accurate mapping, documentation, and timely updates of customer information.
- Support the sales team in handling customer inquiries and providing exceptional service.
- Work with customers and functional partners (sales team, Supply Chain and IT) to resolve PO issues.
- Review and communicate vendor business and compliance requirements to the supply chain.
- Assist in resolving product/packaging issues, vendor compliance concerns, and chargeback claims by
- gathering information and supporting resolution.
Order Management
- Manage the order processing workflow from PO receipt through validation, confirmation, fulfillment, and shipment/delivery, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness at each step.
- Verify PO information for accuracy and completeness.
- Check orders against inventory and forecasts to ensure availability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance) to align orders with
- customer requirements and drive timely sales recognition, invoicing, and payment collection.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain item setup details, pricing, and product specifications in databases and customer portals.
- Prepare basic business reports, track sales metrics, and assist with customer presentations.
Performance & Improvement
- Meet personal and team performance goals aligned on company scorecard metrics.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support innovative projects.
- Support on ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales support, account/order management, or supply chain — preferably in consumer goods.
Proficiencies Required
- Experience working with international clients and multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of CRM/ERP systems (Oracle E‑Business Suite, Salesforce, Centric) is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Analytical mindset with problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Familiarity with consumer products, logistics, and vendor compliance preferred.
