About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own and develop our QA automation strategy and build scalable, reliable automated testing across our product.

This is a hands-on senior role combining automation engineering, quality strategy and AI-assisted testing, working closely with Manual QA, Developers and Product teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and continuously improve the QA automation strategy, standards, coverage and roadmap.
  • Design, develop and maintain automated tests across UI, API, integration and end-to-end testing.
  • Build and maintain automation using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
  • Automate high-value regression scenarios, focusing on critical user journeys and product risks.
  • Build and maintain Smoke, Regression, Critical Path and Release test suites.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure reliable coverage across browsers, devices and environments.
  • Investigate flaky tests and failures using DevTools, logs, API traces, network requests and databases.
  • Manage test data and other components required for reliable automation.
  • Provide clear reporting on automation results, coverage and quality trends.
  • Work with Manual QA and Engineering to identify risks, edge cases and the right automation opportunities.
  • Use AI-assisted testing and development for test design, automation, debugging, failure analysis and test-data generation.
  • Rapidly prototype scripts, internal tools and utilities that reduce repetitive manual work.
  • Establish automation best practices and share technical knowledge across the QA team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong QA fundamentals and senior-level experience in QA Automation for web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress and/or Selenium.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and API testing/automation experience.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, HTTP/HTTPS and browser DevTools.
  • Experience with test automation architecture, CI/CD, Git and version control.
  • Experience with SQL, database validation and test data management.
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser/device testing, flaky test analysis and test reliability.
  • Good understanding of risk-based automation, including what should and shouldn’t be automated.
  • Practical understanding of performance and web security testing fundamentals.
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding, test design and debugging, including prompt engineering and AI test-data generation.
  • Interest or experience in agentic AI workflows, rapid prototyping and AI tool evaluation.
  • Strong root-cause analysis, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across QA, Engineering and Product.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within iGaming, social gaming or another high-volume digital product environment.
  • Experience building internal QA tools, scripts or automation utilities.
  • Experience mentoring Manual QA engineers and developing their technical skills.
