About the Role

Velocity, AllianceATE's flagship EDA platform, is a best-in-class solution for design-to-test automation. For many customers, converting design-to-test programs requires weeks of developing custom code and tools – but not with Velocity. See faster validation and deployment with Velocity.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Technical Program Manager to help drive customer engagements and engineering initiatives across the AllianceATE organization.

Working closely with customers, application engineers, software developers, and leadership, this individual will coordinate technical projects, drive follow-through on customer commitments, identify risks and obstacles, and help ensure successful execution across multiple concurrent priorities.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with highly technical teams, and can drive alignment and execution across multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination and execution of customer-facing projects involving technical issue resolution, software enhancements, workflow improvements, and custom engineering solutions.
  • Partner with customers and engineering teams to understand priorities, align on objectives, and drive successful outcomes.
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, dependencies, risks, and action items to help teams achieve project milestones and customer commitments.
  • Facilitate customer meetings, technical reviews, and cross-functional discussions while ensuring clear ownership and follow-through.
  • Proactively identify obstacles, resource constraints, and execution risks, and drive appropriate escalation and resolution.
  • Communicate concise project status, risks, decisions, and required actions to engineering leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain visibility across multiple concurrent customer engagements and internal initiatives.
  • Help improve project management practices, operating rhythms, and execution processes as the organization continues to grow.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, applications engineering, solutions engineering, technical customer support, or related roles.
  • Experience coordinating complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Ability to participate in technical discussions and translate outcomes into clear actions and execution plans.
  • Strong project management fundamentals, including schedule, dependency, risk, and action-item management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to drive alignment and execution across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving customer priorities and technical challenges.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience in semiconductor testing, ATE, EDA, semiconductor software, or related engineering environments.
  • Previous experience as an Applications Engineer, Field Applications Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Customer Engineer, or Technical Program Manager.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing engineering projects involving software solutions and technical problem solving.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor test program development, debugging, validation, or production workflows.
  • Experience using project management platforms.

Demonstrated track record of improving team execution, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
