Complexe processen ontwarren, de juiste vragen stellen, en ervoor zorgen dat een development team precies weet wat het moet bouwen — dat is wat een goede functioneel analist doet. Bij AE doe je dat in wisselende klantencontexten, op het snijvlak van business en technologie.

AI in deze rol

AI-tooling zoals Copilot en Claude maakt al deel uit van het dagelijkse analysewerk: documentatie structureren, requirements scherper formuleren, modellen sneller opstellen. Niet als vervanging van het denkwerk — wel als manier om meer tijd te steken in wat telt.

Daarnaast krijg je als FA steeds vaker te maken met projecten waarbij AI zelf het onderwerp is. Een klant wil een AI-feature in hun applicatie: wat moet het systeem doen, hoe ziet de gebruikerservaring eruit, wat zijn de randgevallen, hoe integreer je dat in bestaande processen? Dat zijn functionele analysevragen — en jij bent degene die ze stelt en beantwoordt.

Wat is je focus?

  • Je brengt businessprocessen in kaart en vertaalt ze naar heldere, bruikbare vereisten voor het development team
  • Je denkt verder dan de vraag van de klant en biedt oplossingen aan die ook over twee jaar nog werken
  • Je faciliteert workshops en werkt met visuele modellen zoals procesflows, informatiemodellen en use cases
  • Je helpt de klant hun analyseaanpak te verbeteren — niet alleen het project, ook de manier van werken
  • Je werkt aan uiteenlopende analysevraagstukken: procesoptimalisatie, softwareoplossingen, integraties

Wie ben jij?

  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als analist, bij voorkeur in een agile omgeving
  • Je werkt vlot met modelleringstechnieken zoals UML of BPMN en kan die uitleggen aan zowel business als techniek
  • Je schakelt makkelijk tussen stakeholders en past je taalgebruik en abstractieniveau aan
  • Je brengt structuur aan in complexiteit — met oog voor detail én het grotere geheel
  • Vloeiend Nederlands, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Een plus is:
  • Je bent vertrouwd met AI-tooling in je dagelijkse werk en weet wanneer het helpt
  • Ervaring met het analyseren van AI-features of data-gedreven functionaliteiten
