Een van onze klanten in het Antwerpse staat voor een doorgedreven modernisatie van hun applicatie-architectuur. AE staat mee aan het roer van die transformatie. Vanuit een bestaande .NET-omgeving bouwen we mee aan een vernieuwd applicatielandschap waarin Domain Driven Design, duidelijke service boundaries en event-gedreven communicatie centraal staan. Het is méér dan een technische upgrade. Het is een structurele stap richting een volwassen, toekomstgerichte IT-organisatie — en jij geeft er technisch richting aan.

AI bij AE — wat dat voor jou betekent

Als Tech Lead bij AE stimuleer je een AI-gedreven manier van werken in je team — concreet en met voorbeeldfunctie. Dat betekent: Copilot en Claude actief inzetten voor codegeneratie en review, maar ook kritisch nadenken over waar AI structureel waarde toevoegt in het engineering proces en waar niet. Je helpt het team die afweging leren maken — en je draagt bij aan hoe AE die kennis bredere toepast in software delivery.

Wat is je focus?

  • Je neemt technische verantwoordelijkheid binnen één of meerdere .NET-teams en bewaakt de architecturale samenhang binnen het bredere modernisatietraject
  • Je vertaalt functionele en niet-functionele vereisten naar schaalbare technische ontwerpen, in lijn met de architectuurprincipes die samen met AE worden uitgezet
  • Je maakt Domain Driven Design concreet in de praktijk: duidelijke bounded contexts, consistente service-decompositie en heldere integratiepatronen
  • Je zet de lijnen uit rond event-gedreven communicatie en messaging (NServiceBus, RabbitMQ) en waakt over correcte toepassing ervan in de teams
  • Je begeleidt developers in design patterns, codekwaliteit, teststrategie en best practices — en tilt zo het maturiteitsniveau van het team mee omhoog
  • Je denkt mee over cloud-native principes en containerisatie in een Kubernetes/OpenShift-context
  • Je detecteert technische risico's vroegtijdig en bewaakt kwaliteit, robuustheid en onderhoudbaarheid in een enterprise-context met hoge eisen rond security en compliance

Wie ben jij?

  • Bewezen ervaring als senior .NET developer of tech lead in complexe, bedrijfskritische omgevingen
  • Diepgaande kennis van C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core en ervaring met microservices en distributed system patterns
  • Sterke ervaring met Domain Driven Design en event-driven architectuur — dit is geen nice-to-have maar de kern van de opdracht
  • Een duidelijke architectuurvisie die je pragmatisch kan toepassen in systemen die evolueren
  • Hands-on mentaliteit: je blijft graag betrokken bij implementatie en code reviews, ook vanuit een leidende rol - Helder communiceren met zowel technische als niet-technische stakeholders; architecturale keuzes onderbouwen en verdedigen
  • Vloeiend Nederlands
  • Pluspunt:
  • Ervaring met cloud-native deployment in een Kubernetes of OpenShift-omgeving
  • Vertrouwdheid met AI-tools in software engineering (Copilot, Claude of vergelijkbaar)
  • Ervaring met het begeleiden van teams in technische maturiteitsgroei
