Job Description

Job Summary: Coordinates and oversees food service activities in the restaurant to meet division standards. Manages the business to meet high quality standards for internal and external customers. This position should assist in leading Team Members to driving exceptional guest experience & maximizing business opportunities. Manages the execution of the conceptual aspects of the business accordingly with style of service, ambiance, and menu offerings. Manages Health & Safety requirements of execution of the business according to Division standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in leading, coaching, training, and developing team members.
  • Conduct team briefings and ensure employees maintain thorough knowledge of food, beverage, and wine offerings.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
  • Motivate staff and foster a positive, high-performing team environment.
  • Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for service, with appropriate staffing, supplies, and operational readiness.
  • Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Oversee service standards, grooming requirements, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and payroll submissions to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with Human Resources on employee relations and performance matters.
  • Maintain inventory controls and ensure food, beverage, and equipment levels meet operational requirements.
  • Assist with financial tracking, inventory management, and month-end reporting.
  • Ensure all financial and credit transactions are processed accurately and securely.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and maintain effective partnerships with Reservations and Sales teams.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by promptly addressing guest requests, concerns, and complaints.
  • Promote a welcoming atmosphere by engaging guests professionally and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years college degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s hotel/restaurant management preferable
  • Previous hotel-related experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of service and F&B operations
  • Solid negotiation, persuasion, communication, presentation
