Job Description

BryceTech is seeking a Program Analyst – Mission Strategy & Performance to provide analytical, financial, evaluation, and program support to U.S. Space Force organizations in El Segundo, CA. The position will support the analysis of operational and acquisition strategies, secure weapon systems and mission infrastructure, vendor software and hardware development and delivery, financial and management controls, audit activities, and program performance. The successful candidate will gather and analyze financial and non-financial information, evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends and issues, and develop reports and recommendations to support informed Government decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational strategies and their alignment with acquisition and contracting strategies
  • Support planning, execution, and sustainment activities associated with secure weapon systems and mission infrastructure
  • Track vendor software and hardware development activities, milestones, deliverables, and deliveries from initiation through completion
  • Gather, organize, validate, and analyze financial and non-financial program data from multiple sources
  • Initiate and maintain processes for collecting, tracking, and updating program and financial information
  • Monitor program status, requirements, schedules, deliverables, and performance indicators
  • Analyze financial records, financial and management reports, management controls, policies, and business practices affecting program performance and operating results
  • Support reviews of financial and management information to identify discrepancies, trends, risks, and areas requiring additional analysis
  • Support the development and execution of audit policies, procedures, and programs
  • Conduct or support performance audits and reviews of program activities, processes, and controls
  • Assist with activities designed to identify and assess potential fraud, waste, abuse, inefficiency, or other program vulnerabilities
  • Apply formative evaluation methods to assess the feasibility, appropriateness, and acceptability of programs, policies, organizational approaches, or proposed initiatives before full implementation
  • Apply impact evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness and causal impact of programs, policies, organizational approaches, or individual program elements against appropriate baselines or counterfactuals
  • Analyze combinations of program elements, interventions, or strategies and assess their relationship to desired program outcomes
  • Develop evaluation frameworks, measures, data collection approaches, and analytical products to support program assessments
  • Research and synthesize information from Government, contractor, financial, operational, and program sources
  • Obtain and maintain current information required to support program analysis and decision-making
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, briefings, charts, and other analytical products
  • Translate complex financial, operational, acquisition, and performance information into clear findings and recommendations
  • Identify program trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement and communicate findings to Government leadership
  • Coordinate with Government personnel, contractors, program offices, acquisition professionals, financial managers, and other stakeholders to obtain information and resolve data issues
  • Track workflow taskers, action items, requests for information, and analytical deliverables
  • Maintain accurate and organized program records, analytical files, source data, and supporting documentation
  • Support multiple concurrent analytical assignments and meet established deadlines
  • Handle sensitive and classified information in accordance with applicable security requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of U.S. Space Force mission requirements

Qualifications

  • Active DoW Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, mathematics, public administration, management, data analytics, or a related field
  • 3–10 years of relevant professional experience in program analysis, financial analysis, acquisition, contracting, audit, program evaluation, business analysis, or related areas
  • Experience analyzing operational strategies and their alignment with acquisition and contracting strategies
  • Experience supporting the planning, execution, and sustainment of secure weapon systems, mission infrastructure, or other complex Government programs
  • Experience tracking vendor software and hardware development, milestones, deliverables, and deliveries
  • Experience gathering, validating, organizing, and analyzing financial and non-financial program data
  • Experience initiating, tracking, and maintaining current financial and non-financial information to support program analysis and reporting
  • Experience analyzing financial records, financial and management reports, management controls, policies, and business practices
  • Experience supporting or conducting audits, performance audits, financial reviews, or assessments of organizational programs and activities
  • Knowledge of audit policies and programs and experience identifying or assessing potential fraud, waste, abuse, inefficiency, or internal control weaknesses
  • Experience applying formative evaluation methods to assess the feasibility, appropriateness, and acceptability of programs, policies, organizational approaches, or proposed initiatives
  • Experience applying impact evaluation methods to assess program, policy, or organizational outcomes and evaluate results against an appropriate counterfactual, baseline, or comparison group
  • Experience evaluating combinations of program elements, interventions, or strategies and their relationship to desired outcomes
  • Experience developing analytical reports and presenting findings, trends, and recommendations to Government or organizational leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify relationships and trends across large or complex data sets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information from multiple sources
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize competing requirements, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Government, contractor, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to handle sensitive and classified information with appropriate discretion and security awareness
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, classified environment supporting U.S. Space Force mission requirements
