Wij zijn op zoek naar een gedreven Database Architect met sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en een oplossingsgerichte mindset. Je weet complexe database-uitdagingen te vertalen naar duurzame oplossingen en kan dit duidelijk communiceren naar technische en niet technische stakeholders.

Als Senior Database Architect bij Cipal Schaubroeck speel je een sleutelrol in het verbinden van development teams om efficiënte en schaalbare databasestructuren te ontwerpen. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het uitwerken van de strategie en werkt nauw samen met functionele analisten, ontwikkelaars en architecten om ervoor te zorgen dat onze databases optimaal functioneren en voldoen aan de nieuwste technologische en veiligheidsnormen.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de volledige levenscyclus van de database, van ontwerp en implementatie tot onderhoud. Je focust op het verbeteren van de performance door gebruik te maken van monitoring- en tuningtools en -technieken om databaseprestaties te optimaliseren, querytijden te verkorten en de algehele systeemefficiëntie te verbeteren.

Wat zoeken we concreet?

  • Ervaring: Je hebt een bachelor- of een masterdiploma met een diepgaande kennis van databasetechnologieën (RDBMS, NoSQL), SQL en databaseontwerpprincipes.
  • Technische expertise: Je hebt meerdere jaren (5) ervaring en een sterke kennis van specifieke databasesystemen (in volgorde van belangrijkheid): MariaDB, Oracle, Informix, MongoDB, SQL Server.
  • Probleemoplossend vermogen: Je hebt de capaciteit om complexe databaseproblemen te diagnosticeren en op te lossen.
  • Communicatieve vaardigheden: Je communiceert effectief met zowel technische als niet-technische stakeholders.
