Job Description

As a Technician Supervisor at Arman Building Maintenance - UAE, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the work of technicians in the Projects department. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of various facilities, including Arman Building Maintenance. You will lead, mentor, and guide the technician team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the overall success and satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective work.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
  • Train and mentor technicians, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the maintenance services provided.
  • Develop and implement efficient work processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, promoting a safe work environment for all employees and visitors.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate best practices into maintenance operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the facility management industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of technicians.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in building maintenance and operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant technology tools.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • A proactive and customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
