México tiene una oferta hotelera independiente amplia y fragmentada que todavía presenta oportunidades relevantes de incorporación y desarrollo dentro del ecosistema Despegar. La misión del Account Strategist es identificar esa oferta, llegar al decisor, construir el caso de negocio y convertir la oportunidad en un partner activo y listo para vender.

Es un rol de hunting: combina inteligencia comercial, prospección estructurada, presencia en campo, negociación y disciplina de pipeline. El trabajo no termina con la firma; debe asegurar una transición ordenada hacia onboarding y primeras ventas.

Nos encontramos en la búsqueda de Account Strategists que esten residiendo en:

  • Ciudad de México
  • Pacífico: Los Cabos / Vallarta.
  • Monterrey
  • Guadalajara
  • Cancún

¿Cómo generas impacto?

  • Detectas la oferta que falta. Cruzar señales de demanda, cobertura, mercado y competencia para priorizar hoteles y plazas con mayor oportunidad.
  • Construyes un pipeline de hunting. Prospectar activamente, identificar decisores y generar oportunidades sin depender exclusivamente de leads entrantes.
  • Abres la relación y cierras. Conducir el ciclo desde primer contacto hasta contratación, combinando contacto remoto y reuniones presenciales cuando agreguen valor.
  • Vendes con datos. Construir un caso económico claro para el hotel usando demanda, producción potencial, benchmarks y herramientas de análisis/IA.
  • Negocias condiciones de entrada. Alinear condiciones comerciales, contenido, disponibilidad, tarifas y promociones necesarias para un lanzamiento competitivo.
  • Entregas un partner listo para vender. Coordinar onboarding, configuración y handoff con Partner Operations / Market Management hasta asegurar activación y primeras reservas.
  • Gestionas el pipeline con disciplina. Mantener CRM, probabilidad, siguientes pasos, fechas y forecast de altas permanentemente actualizados.
  • Desarrollas plazas prioritarias. Construir presencia local y relaciones con asociaciones, clusters y actores del trade que aceleren adquisición.

Lo que te diferencia:

  • 3 a 6 años de experiencia en hunting, desarrollo de negocio o ventas B2B; hotelería, travel tech, SaaS o medios digitales son deseables.
  • Historial comprobable de prospección y cierre de nuevos clientes/partners.
  • Capacidad para negociar presencialmente y construir relaciones desde cero.
  • Perfil altamente autónomo, organizado y orientado a metas.
  • Comodidad con KPIs, CRM, Excel/Sheets y análisis comercial.
  • Uso de tecnología e IA como palanca para investigar, priorizar y vender mejor.
  • Disponibilidad para viajes frecuentes dentro de la región asignada.
  • Inglés es un nive to have.
