El Market Associate es el punto de entrada al track de Market Management y tiene ownership real sobre una cartera de hoteles. La expectativa es evolucionar hacia trusted advisor: entender el negocio del partner, la dinámica del destino y las palancas de Despegar para transformar información en acciones que hagan crecer la cuenta.

No es un rol administrativo de seguimiento. Requiere lectura de datos, negociación, visitas, ejecución comercial y disciplina de CRM.

Nos encontramos en la búsqueda de Account Strategists que esten residiendo en:

  • Ciudad de México
  • Pacífico: Los Cabos / Vallarta.
  • Monterrey
  • Guadalajara
  • Cancún

¿Cómo generas impacto?

  • Trusted advisor de la cartera. Construir relaciones de confianza y entender objetivos, estacionalidad, restricciones y oportunidades del partner.
  • Ownership del portafolio. Gestionar revenue, share, disponibilidad, competitividad tarifaria, conversión y salud de las cuentas asignadas.
  • Crecimiento B2C y B2B. Identificar oportunidades por canal y activar las palancas comerciales correspondientes.
  • Negociación continua. Negociar tarifas, inventario, promociones, paquetes y media en las marcas/canales aplicables.
  • Competitividad. Detectar y accionar oportunidades de precio, disponibilidad, paridad/adversidad y distribución, incluyendo Partner Offer cuando corresponda.
  • Business reviews y optimization calls. Mantener una cadencia de revisiones de performance que cierre siempre con acciones, owner y fecha.
  • Diagnóstico data-driven. Leer dashboards, construir análisis en Excel/Sheets e identificar cuentas de mayor oportunidad.
  • Educación del partner. Traducir producto, pricing, distribución y nuevas iniciativas en beneficios concretos para el hotel.
  • Presencia en el mercado. Participar en visitas, eventos y actividades del trade para generar insight y oportunidades.

Lo que te diferencia:

  • 3 a 5 años de experiencia en travel, hotelería, OTA, tour operación, DMC o account management B2B consultivo.
  • Licenciatura concluida en Administración, Turismo, Economía, Marketing o áreas afines, o experiencia equivalente.
  • Postura consultiva y capacidad para convertir datos en recomendaciones accionables.
  • Buen dominio de Excel/Google Sheets y lectura de dashboards.
  • Comunicación comercial clara, escucha activa y capacidad de negociación.
  • Mentalidad de owner: iniciativa, seguimiento y cierre de loops.
  • Experiencia con CRM y Google Workspace.
  • Disponibilidad para viajes frecuentes.
  • Inglés es un nice to have.
