Binnen Airside Passenger Services zijn wij op zoek naar een Duty Manager.

Wij zoeken geen specifieke functietitel. We zoeken collega's met operationeel inzicht, natuurlijk leiderschap en het vermogen om snel de juiste beslissingen te nemen in een dynamische luchthavenomgeving. Mensen die energie krijgen van het aansturen van teams, het continu verbeteren van processen en het leveren van een uitstekende dienstverlening aan onze airline-partners en passagiers.

Of je nu ervaring hebt opgedaan als Supervisor, Teamleider, Coördinator of al werkzaam bent als Duty Manager, we komen graag met je in contact wanneer jij denkt een waardevolle bijdrage te kunnen leveren aan onze operatie.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Duty Manager Airside Passenger Services ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse operatie tijdens jouw dienst. Je zorgt ervoor dat alle operationele processen veilig, efficiënt en volgens planning verlopen. Daarbij stuur je meerdere teams aan en ben je het eerste aanspreekpunt bij operationele verstoringen en escalaties.

Je werkt nauw samen met interne afdelingen, airline-partners en Schiphol om de operatie soepel te laten verlopen en de afgesproken servicelevels te behalen.

Je verantwoordelijkheden bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Het waarborgen van veiligheid, kwaliteit en punctualiteit volgens de geldende procedures en airline-eisen.
  • Het snel schakelen bij operationele verstoringen, vertragingen, onregelmatigheden en calamiteiten.
  • Het nemen van operationele beslissingen en waar nodig escaleren naar de Manager Passenger Services.
  • Het onderhouden van contact met airlines, Schiphol, Ground Operations en andere operationele stakeholders.
  • Het analyseren van operationele prestaties en het signaleren en implementeren van verbeteringen.
  • Het leiden van of deelnemen aan projecten gericht op kwaliteit, efficiency en continue verbetering.
  • Het coachen, begeleiden en ontwikkelen van leidinggevenden en medewerkers.
  • Het voeren van functionerings- en beoordelingsgesprekken.
  • Het begeleiden van verzuim- en re-integratietrajecten.
  • Het stimuleren van eigenaarschap, samenwerking en een sterke veiligheidscultuur binnen de teams.

Wat breng je mee?

Voor deze functie zoeken we collega's die ervaring hebben met het leidinggeven binnen een operationele omgeving en die onder hoge druk het overzicht weten te behouden. Je bent besluitvaardig, communicatief sterk en voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar geen dag hetzelfde is.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Ervaring in een leidinggevende functie binnen Passenger Services, Ground Handling, Aviation, Hospitality of een vergelijkbare operationele omgeving.
  • Ervaring met het aansturen van meerdere operationele teams.
  • Kennis van operationele processen binnen de luchtvaart is een sterke pré.
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Ervaring met Microsoft 365, waaronder Outlook, Teams en Excel.
  • Sterke communicatieve en coachende vaardigheden.
  • Het vermogen om snel prioriteiten te stellen en effectief te schakelen tussen operatie, medewerkers, airlines en andere stakeholders.
  • Een flexibele instelling en bereidheid om in wisselende diensten te werken.
