Als onderdeel van de Emirates Group behoort dnata tot de grootste luchtvaartdienstverleners ter wereld. Met ruim 46.000 collega's op 136 luchthavens ondersteunen we dagelijks airlines en miljoenen passagiers met veilige en betrouwbare grondafhandeling.

Sinds 2015 zijn we actief op Schiphol, waar bijna 1.300 collega's iedere dag bijdragen aan een operatie die continu in ontwikkeling is. Door de verdere uitbreiding van onze activiteiten zijn wij op zoek naar ervaren Pushback Chauffeurs die ons team komen versterken.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Pushback Chauffeur ben je verantwoordelijk voor het veilig verplaatsen van vliegtuigen van de gate naar de startpositie en voor het uitvoeren van sleepbewegingen op het platform. Je werkt volgens strikte veiligheidsprocedures en speelt een belangrijke rol in een veilige, efficiënte en punctuele vluchtuitvoering.

Tijdens iedere pushback sta je via een headset in direct contact met de cockpitbemanning en werk je nauw samen met de Luchtverkeersleiding Nederland (LVNL) en je collega's op het platform. Je houdt overzicht, werkt nauwkeurig en neemt geen enkel risico als het gaat om veiligheid.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Uitvoeren van pushbacks en sleepbewegingen volgens de geldende veiligheidsprocedures.
  • Begeleiden en positioneren van vliegtuigen op het platform.
  • Bedienen en controleren van pushbackmaterieel en andere Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Controleren van de werkomgeving en afbakenen van veiligheidszones voorafgaand aan iedere pushback.
  • Samenwerken met collega's en operationele partners om een veilige en efficiënte vluchtuitvoering te waarborgen.
  • Signaleren en melden van bijzonderheden of afwijkingen tijdens de operatie.

Je werkt graag in een dynamische omgeving waar veiligheid altijd op de eerste plaats staat. Je bent nauwkeurig, besluitvaardig en voelt je verantwoordelijk voor een veilige uitvoering van iedere pushback.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Minimale mbo 3 werk- en denkniveau.
  • Bezit van een rijbewijs B.
  • Ervaring als medewerker Ramp of Platform.
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
  • Je kunt een positieve Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar (VGB) verkrijgen. Hiervoor is het noodzakelijk dat je de afgelopen acht jaar aantoonbaar in Nederland en/of binnen de EU hebt gewoond.
