EHS Manager (MT-lid) – Regio Culemborg

Voor een industriële productielocatie die zich bevindt in een duidelijke transitiefase ben ik op zoek naar een actiegerichte en pragmatische EHS Manager. De locatie is enkele jaren geleden overgenomen door een grote internationale organisatie uit de food industrie en ontwikkelt zich stap voor stap richting een meer professionele, gestructureerde manier van werken.

Daarnaast bevindt de organisatie zich in de transitie naar een BRZO-locatie, wat betekent dat wetgeving, compliance en veiligheidsstandaarden de komende jaren aanzienlijk veranderen. Dit vraagt om een EHS-professional die inhoudelijk sterk is, hands-on betrokken is bij de praktijk en het geduld heeft om duurzame verbeteringen door te voeren. Verandering verloopt hier niet lineair: twee stappen vooruit en soms één stap terug. Je maakt onderdeel uit van het Management Team en opereert op tactisch en operationeel niveau, met directe invloed op beleid en uitvoering.

De rol

Als EHS Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vormgeven, implementeren en borgen van het EHS-beleid binnen een bestaande, deels verouderde plant. Je bent zichtbaar op de werkvloer, begrijpt de realiteit van de operatie en weet wet- en regelgeving te vertalen naar werkbare en gedragen oplossingen.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Implementeren en uitvoeren van EHS-beleid binnen een productieomgeving in transitie
  • Begeleiden van de organisatie richting BRZO-compliance
  • Vertalen van (nieuwe) wet- en regelgeving naar praktische processen en werkwijzen
  • Uitvoeren en opvolgen van RI&Es, audits, inspecties en incidentonderzoeken
  • Verhogen van veiligheidsbewustzijn door training, coaching en aanwezigheid op de werkvloer
  • Rapporteren over voortgang, risicos en verbeterinitiatieven aan het MT
  • Aanspreekpunt voor externe toezichthouders en andere stakeholders

Wie ben jij?

  • HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur in een technische of veiligheidskundige richting
  • Meerdere jaren ervaring als EHS Manager binnen een industriële of productieomgeving
  • Gedegen kennis van Nederlandse EHS-wetgeving; ervaring met BRZO is een pré
  • Actiegericht, pragmatisch en hands-on
  • Geduldig en volhardend in verandertrajecten
  • In staat om op MT-niveau te schakelen, maar ook zelf de werkvloer op te gaan
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • Salarisrange: €100.000 – €130.000 bruto per jaar (exclusief bonus)
  • Variabele bonus van 10–15%
  • 25 vakantiedagen, met de mogelijkheid om extra dagen bij te kopen
  • Werken in een MT-positie met zichtbaarheid, verantwoordelijkheid en impact
  • Goede aanvullende secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden
