Reliability Engineer – Regio Rotterdam

Wil jij als Reliability Engineer niet alleen analyseren, maar ook daadwerkelijk verbeteringen realiseren? Voor een internationaal chemisch productiebedrijf in de regio Rotterdam zoeken wij een Reliability Engineer die reliability combineert met het uitvoeren van technische verbeterprojecten (Continuous Improvement).

Je komt terecht op een compacte productielocatie van circa 60 medewerkers waar de technische basis goed staat en volop wordt geïnvesteerd. De site presteert goed, er heerst een prettige sfeer en het ziekteverzuim is met circa 2% opvallend laag. De onderhoudsorganisatie is bewust klein gehouden: een Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor en jij als Reliability Engineer. Voor onderhoud en projecten wordt gewerkt met vaste contractors.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Reliability Engineer ben je niet onderdeel van de dagelijkse onderhoudsorganisatie. Je richt je op structurele verbeteringen en krijgt veel vrijheid om zelf projecten op te zetten.

Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:

  • Uitvoeren van RCA's, FMECA's, Criticality Rankings en reliability studies;
  • Analyseren van storings-, onderhouds- en performancegegevens;
  • Identificeren en aanpakken van bad actors;
  • Optimaliseren van onderhoudsstrategieën en onderhoudsplannen;
  • Initiëren en begeleiden van technische verbeter- en CI-projecten;
  • Verbeteren van installatiebetrouwbaarheid, efficiency en onderhoudskosten;
  • Ontwikkelen van een visie en roadmap voor Continuous Improvement;
  • Samenwerken met maintenance, productie, monteurs en andere disciplines.

Een belangrijk onderdeel van de functie is dat je van analyse naar actie gaat. Zie je een structureel probleem? Dan onderzoek je het, breng je de juiste mensen bij elkaar en zet je een verbetertraject op.

Je staat daarom regelmatig op de werkvloer. Een houding van "dat valt niet onder mijn verantwoordelijkheid" past hier niet. Je werkt als team en pakt eigenaarschap.

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken geen zwaar, volledig uitontwikkeld reliability-profiel. Gedrevenheid, wilskracht en doorzettingsvermogen vinden we minstens zo belangrijk.

Je hebt:

  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring binnen de procesindustrie;
  • HBO werk- en denkniveau in een technische richting;
  • Ervaring of affiniteit met reliability, maintenance en/of continuous improvement;
  • Een analytische en tegelijkertijd praktische instelling;
  • De drive om verbeteringen daadwerkelijk voor elkaar te krijgen;
  • Een eigen visie en het lef om die in te brengen.

Kennis van RCA, FMECA, Criticality Ranking, SAP PM, ATEX/PED of HAZOP is mooi meegenomen. Wat je nog niet beheerst, kun je hier leren.

Wat krijg je?

  • €72.000 – €103.000 bruto per jaar, inclusief vakantiegeld;
  • 25 vakantiedagen;
  • 7% extra budget, gelijk aan circa 13 ADV-dagen;
  • uitstekende pensioenregeling;
