Actuellement, nous cherchons un(e) Technicien(ne) avionique. Responsabilites : Exécuter efficacement toutes activités reliées à l’avionique sur les avions tel que demandé par le client, soit dans le hangar et sur la rampe; Agir en tant que « lead » sur des projets majeurs d’inspection et de modification d’aéronef et être responsable de superviser et guider le travail effectué par les techniciens junior et/ou apprentis assignés à ces projets; S’assurer que tous les documents d’aéronefs soient dûment complétés; S’assurer que chacune des composantes installées sur les aéronefs soit certifiée; S’acquitter des tâches et des responsabilités décrites dans le Manuel de contrôle du service avionique et s’assurer de se conformer aux règlements standards de Transport Canada; Participer à des cours de formation tel qu’assignés par la direction; Respecter la politique SMS «Safety Management System»; Maintenir et assurer un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire en tout temps; Assister dans toutes autres tâches connexes telles qu’assignées par le superviseur *********** Gestal North America is a partner of choice for companies in the aerospace, shipbuilding, and energy sectors. We are currently looking for an Avionics Technician. Responsibilities: Efficiently perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft as requested by the customer, either in the hangar or on the ramp; Act as a lead on major aircraft inspection and modification projects and be responsible for supervising and guiding the work performed by junior technicians and/or apprentices assigned to these projects; Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed; Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified; Perform the duties and responsibilities described in the Avionics Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations; Participate in training courses as assigned by management; Comply with the Safety Management System (SMS) policy; Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times; Assist with any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Profil Licence valide de Transport Canada de catégorie E ou eligible a l'obtention; Diplôme de technicien en entretien d’aéronefs/ ou avionique ou l’équivalent. Minimum de 5 années d’expérience connexe; Expérience de travail sur des avions d’affaires, considéré comme un atout; Aptitude à travailler sous pression, en faisant preuve de solides compétences organisationnelles; Souci du détail; attitude positive; bon esprit d’équipe; Solides aptitudes de communication; Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office et d’autres applications informatiques; Flexibilité à travailler selon le quart de travail assigné (fin de semaine/nuit). ********** Valid Transport Canada Class E license or eligible to obtain one; Diploma in aircraft maintenance/avionics or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of related experience; Experience working on business aircraft considered an asset; Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating strong organizational skills;Attention to detail; positive attitude; good team spirit; Strong communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications; Flexibility to work assigned shifts (weekends/nights).
