Als basisarts bij de Spoedeisende Psychiatrie Amsterdam-Amstelland (SPAA) van GGZ inGeest bied je cruciale hulp aan cliënten in acute crisis.

Je werkt vanuit de locatie De Nieuwe Valerius (DNV) nabij het oude VU ziekenhuis (nabij Zuidas, goed te bereiken met OV). We zijn een groot multidisciplinair team. Ons werkgebied is Amsterdam Nieuw-West, Amsterdam Zuid, Amstelveen en Amstelland.

Passende zorg voor jouw cliënten

  • De Spoedeisende Psychiatrie Amsterdam en Amstelland (SPAA) biedt gespecialiseerde zorg aan volwassenen en ouderen in de regio Amsterdam en Amstelland die zich in een acute psychische crisis bevinden. Wij ontvangen verwijzingen van o.a. huisartsen, spoedposten/SEH en collega GGZ-behandelaren voor acute beoordeling en crisisinterventie (al dan niet in co-behandeling).
  • Onze cliëntenpopulatie is zeer divers, zowel in achtergrond als in psychiatrische aandoeningen. Wij behandelen onder andere cliënten met depressies, psychoses en manieën. Vaak speelt er suicidaliteit. Onze behandelingen worden uitgevoerd volgens de methodiek van Intensive Home Treatment (IHT), waarbij de voorkeur uitgaat naar behandeling in de eigen omgeving van de cliënt.
  • Het doel van onze behandelingen is mede het voorkomen (of verkorten) van opnames. Dit realiseren wij door middel van huisbezoeken, frequent contact met de cliënt, en kortdurende crisisbehandelingen van maximaal 6-8 weken. Hierbij werken wij nauw samen met de directe omgeving van de cliënt.
  • Je komt te werken in een multidisciplinair team, bestaande uit psychiaters, verpleegkundig specialisten, GZ- en klinisch psychologen, basisartsen, artsen-in-opleiding-tot-psychiater, SPV’ers, ambulant verpleegkundigen, GZ-agogen, en maatschappelijk werk.
  • In ons team werken ook veel collega’s in opleiding (aios, haios, piog, gios, hbo-v). Er is veel aandacht voor deskundigheidsbevordering, supervisie en intervisie.
  • We hebben goed lopende samenwerkingsverbanden met politie, ambulance, ziekenhuizen, huisartsen en andere zorginstellingen. Binnen en buiten kantoortijden werken we nauw samen met onze ketenpartner Arkin in de SPA (Spoedeisende Psychiatrie Amsterdam) inde vorm van centrale triage en bemannen van de diensten die over de 24 uur verdeeld worden, waarvoor artsen, psychiaters en verpleegkundigen worden ingeroosterd. Binnen deze diensten worden cliënten in crisis uit de hele stad gezien.

Passende werkomgeving voor jou

  • Als basisarts bij SPAA staat shared caseload centraal. Je werkt nauw samen met ons multidisciplinair team en verwijzers, neemt actief deel aan teamoverleggen en intervisie.
  • Je voert gesprekken met, en doet acute beoordelingen van, cliënten om hun medische en psychiatrische behoeften vast te stellen. Hierbij stel je medisch-psychiatrische diagnoses, bied je medicatieconsulten aan, lever je handvatten (door bijvoorbeeld het opstellen van crisissignaleringsplan) en voer je begeleidende contacten.
  • Samen met collega’s en de cliënt (en diens systeem) stel je een behandelplannen op en werk je deze verder uit. Je beheert je eigen caseload en werkt nauw samen met het multidisciplinaire team en verwijzers.
  • Je staat onder (wekelijkse) supervisie van een psychiater en neemt deel aan de crisisdiensten buiten kantoortijden van GGZ inGeest als voorwacht.
  • Er is verdiepend onderwijs voor de ANIOS die diensten doen binnen de spoedeisende psychiatrie, georganiseerd en gegeven door psychiaters van zowel Arkin als InGeest.

Ook belangrijk

  • Je hebt een artsenopleiding voltooid en bent BIG-geregistreerd als basisarts.
  • De functie is ingeschaald in FWG 65 cao GGZ.
