About the Role

Our client is seeking a self-driven and analytical Executive – Research & Business Development to support strategic growth initiatives across multiple business sectors.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about research, market intelligence, business development, and corporate strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, evaluating market trends, analyzing emerging industries, and supporting business expansion initiatives through research-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct in-depth research on industries, market trends, emerging sectors, and business opportunities.
  • Analyze local and global market developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, business innovations, and competitive landscapes.
  • Gather and interpret data to support strategic planning and business decision-making.

Business Development Support

  • Generate and present innovative ideas for new and existing business opportunities.
  • Support the identification and evaluation of potential business ventures and investments.
  • Assist business units in expanding market reach through product and service enhancements.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at business growth and operational improvement.

Strategy & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to translate research findings into actionable strategies.
  • Support strategic planning exercises and business development projects.
  • Assist in evaluating new business concepts, partnerships, and market entry opportunities.
  • Participate in discussions relating to business performance, growth opportunities, and market expansion.

Reporting & Presentation

  • Prepare detailed reports, business proposals, market studies, and strategic presentations.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Create clear and impactful presentations that support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of research findings and project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum B pass in the relevant main subject (Combined Mathematics or Biology) at G.C.E. Advanced Level.
  • Strong interest in: Research Business Development Market Analysis Corporate Strategy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of digital literacy and ability to utilize online tools and platforms effectively.
  • Strong presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and an interest in emerging markets and business trends.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset.
