The company develops advanced software and AI-driven security capabilities for highly demanding government and security environments. This is a senior individual-contributor role with significant autonomy, direct access to senior leadership, and responsibility for developing the German market from the ground up.

The role

You will own the German territory end to end. Your focus will be on establishing trusted relationships with technical users, government stakeholders, defence organizations, and relevant industry partners, and converting those relationships into evaluations, pilots, procurements, and long-term customer engagements.

What you will do

Build qualified access to technical end users and decision-makers across German government, defence, intelligence, and national-security organizations Develop trusted relationships with German defence companies, system integrators, specialist cybersecurity providers, and other relevant partners Identify and develop new business opportunities in a greenfield market Manage opportunities from initial customer engagement through technical evaluation, pilot, procurement, and contract Work closely with technical stakeholders to understand operational requirements and position appropriate solutions Build and manage a strategic pipeline of complex public-sector and national-security opportunities Navigate long and sensitive B2G procurement and decision-making processes Expand successful customer engagements into additional units, organizations, and use cases Represent the company in relevant customer meetings, industry events, and partner discussions Act as the central point of contact for the German market and provide structured market and customer feedback internally

What we are looking for

Around 5–8+ years of experience selling complex, high-value technology solutions into government, defence, intelligence, cybersecurity, or national-security customers A strong and active network within the German government, defence, intelligence, or national-security ecosystem Relationships not only at executive or procurement level, but also with technical end users and operational stakeholders Proven experience building a territory or pipeline from scratch Experience navigating long, complex, and sensitive government procurement cycles Strong commercial ownership from initial opportunity through evaluation and contract Sufficient technical aptitude to hold credible conversations with cybersecurity and technical stakeholders High degree of discretion, judgment, and professionalism Professional fluency in German and English

Nice to have Experience selling cybersecurity, intelligence, digital-forensics, cyber-operations, or comparable highly technical security solutions Previous experience in military, intelligence, government-security, or operational cyber environments Experience initiating and closing technical evaluations, pilots, or proof-of-concept projects with government customers Existing relationships with defence suppliers, system integrators, or specialist cybersecurity partners in Germany

The opportunity

This is an opportunity to build the German market for an international technology company at an early stage of its European expansion. You will have significant ownership over market development, customer strategy, partnerships, and pipeline creation while working closely with the company's leadership and technical teams. The role is particularly suited to someone who combines a strong national-security network with the ability to develop complex technical opportunities over longer sales cycles.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
