Consulent Burgerzaken – Burgerlijke Stand

Als Consulent Burgerzaken ben je verantwoordelijk voor een juiste registratie en afhandeling van uiteenlopende processen binnen de Burgerlijke Stand. Je houdt je bezig met onder andere geboorte, overlijden, huwelijk, partnerschapsregistratie, echtscheiding en het Nederlanderschap.

Je informeert en adviseert inwoners over complexe burgerzaken en behandelt aanvragen en documenten zorgvuldig volgens de geldende wet- en regelgeving. Daarbij krijg je regelmatig te maken met buitenlandse documenten, internationaal privaatrecht en nationaliteitswetgeving.

Wat je gaat doen:

  • Informeren en adviseren over onder andere naamskeuze, ouderlijk gezag, adoptie en vaststelling van vaderschap;
  • Adviseren over geslachtsnaam- en voornaamswijzigingen;
  • Behandelen van vraagstukken rondom huwelijk, geregistreerd partnerschap en echtscheiding;
  • Verwerken van meldingen voor huwelijk en geregistreerd partnerschap;
  • Behandelen van verzoeken tot naturalisatie en optie;
  • Informeren over het verkrijgen, verlenen, vaststellen en verlies van het Nederlanderschap;
  • In ontvangst nemen, controleren en beoordelen van binnen- en buitenlandse documenten;
  • Onderzoeken van huwelijksbevoegdheid;
  • Vaststellen van nationaliteitsrechtelijke gevolgen bij geboorte en afstamming;
  • Afnemen van verklaringen onder ede;
  • Opmaken van akten en latere vermeldingen binnen de Burgerlijke Stand;
  • Behandelen van IND-onderzoeken met betrekking tot buitenlandse brondocumenten;
  • Uitzoeken en toevoegen van nationaliteiten ten behoeve van de BRP;
  • Verstrekken van afschriften en uittreksels uit de registers van de Burgerlijke Stand;
  • Afhandelen van overige werkzaamheden rondom naamgebruik, akteverbeteringen en afstand van de Nederlandse nationaliteit.

Wat jij meebrengt:

  • Een afgeronde opleiding op minimaal mbo-niveau (harde eis);
  • Afgeronde opleidingen op het gebied van Burgerzaken/Burgerlijke Stand (harde eis);
  • Ruime ervaring als Consulent Burgerzaken binnen het taakgebied Burgerlijke Stand (harde eis);
  • Ervaring met huwelijken, overlijden, geboorte, erkenningen, echtscheidingen en naturalisatieaanvragen;
  • Kennis van internationaal privaatrecht (IPR) en nationaliteitswetgeving (harde eis);
  • B1a en B1b;
  • Ervaring met Key2Burgerzaken;
  • Je werkt accuraat en zorgvuldig;
  • Je beschikt over een goed omgevingsbewustzijn en inlevingsvermogen;
  • Je bent communicatief zeer vaardig en durft waar nodig initiatief te nemen;
  • Je bent betrokken, werkt graag samen en denkt oplossingsgericht.
