The posting

Kidde Global Solutions is looking for an experienced mobile app developer to join the Aritech Engineering Team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on building, maintaining and modernizing Android and iOS apps used in security, access-control, video and intrusion products.

Position Summary

We are seeking a mobile app developer to maintain the Mobile app and help modernize it for future product needs. The app supports the Intrusion platform and the Security product range across Android and iOS.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with C#, .NET MAUI and mobile app development and can also support migration planning and delivery for Flutter-based mobile applications.

Technology Platform

C#, .NET MAUI and .NET MAUI XAML. Android and iOS mobile development. Flutter and Dart for app migration and future mobile development. Visual Studio, Android tools and Xcode for development, debugging and release activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and improve the Tecom mobile app for Android and iOS using C#, .NET MAUI and XAML. Support migration of existing mobile app features to Flutter, including UI, business logic, native integrations and platform-specific capabilities. Work with Security panels and security products using secure APIs, WebSockets and socket connections. Maintain the current binary protocol, including message handling, validation, reconnection and error recovery. Build app features for user management, alarms, events, status information, mobile control and remote access. Maintain secure WebViews, authentication flows, session handling and recovery from connection failures. Integrate native Android and iOS SDKs or plug-ins for video, notifications, secure storage and platform features. Troubleshoot issues across the app, native plug-ins, panel communications, networks, Android and iOS.

Security Responsibilities

Implement secure communications using HTTPS/TLS, authenticated socket sessions and the encryption required by each panel generation. Maintain AES encryption, secure session establishment, message authentication, certificate validation and key handling where required. Protect credentials, tokens, encryption keys, certificates and sensitive user or security information using approved mobile secure-storage facilities. Validate data received through binary protocols, HTTPS APIs, WebSockets, notifications and WebViews.

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience in C# and mobile app development. Hands-on experience with .NET MAUI, XAML, Android and iOS. Working knowledge of Flutter and Dart, especially for migration from existing native or .NET MAUI apps. Experience with HTTPS, WebSockets, TCP sockets, JSON and binary protocols. Understanding of mobile security, encryption, certificates, secure storage and authentication. Experience integrating native Android and iOS libraries, video SDKs, WebViews and push notifications. Good troubleshooting, testing and documentation skills.

Development Tools and Process

JIRA for requirements, task management, defect tracking and release coordination. SVN for source control, branching, merging and release tagging. Jenkins for continuous integration, automated builds, testing, packaging and controlled release workflows. Visual Studio and the .NET SDK, together with Android and Apple development, testing, profiling and signing tools. Unit, integration and protocol testing, including simulation of Security panel communications. Code reviews, defect investigation, release verification and clear technical documentation.

Desirable Experience

Security, access-control, alarm or building-control mobile applications. Direct communication with embedded controllers or security panels. Knowledge of security products. Video streaming, codecs, native multimedia SDKs or application-store release processes. Experience migrating apps to Flutter or building cross-platform Flutter applications.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
