The posting

Meta is looking for a talented, highly motivated engineer to join the Production Services Automation Team () under the Infra Data Center (Infra Data Center) org at Meta. The IDC org is responsible for deploying and supporting one of the world’s largest, most complex, and robust networks. Automation, especially through Robotics technologies, is the key to meeting our demands; you will be responsible for conceiving, developing and launching tools to support network deployment, maintenance, and scale of data center and edge infrastructure. As a member of this team, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of global networking at Meta.

Responsibilities

  • Drive requirements with Robotics and partner teams, vendors and third parties to align our internal tooling efforts
  • Conceptualize, design, build, and maintain internal fullstack tools to support Robotics programs that contribute towards network designing, planning, deployment, operation, etc
  • Architect efficient and reusable full-stack systems that drive complex Robotics applications
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement, verify and iterate on internal customer facing products, identify and resolve performance and user interface scalability issues
  • Help scale and optimize our overall network capacity by developing cutting edge software solutions which improve efficiency and bring automation through Robotics to our data centers
  • Proactively find gaps that impact multiple teams/orgs, come up with the execution plan and drive the project and influence other teams to reach there
  • Lead/mentor other engineers within and outside of the team. Work with other team members from partner teams, understand their challenges, define and deliver automation solutions to address challenges
  • Help make the people around you move faster by identifying issues slowing the team down and driving changes to address them
  • Help with recruiting and onboarding of new members to the team. Help them by mentoring and ensuring their quick ramp-up within our environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with Web technologies (JS, React, HTML, CSS)
  • Experience debugging issues, benchmarking performance, and implementing automated testing
  • Experience with programming languages (Javascript, PHP, Python, C++, etc)
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into software requirements and explaining the system design
  • Experience evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies based on project requirements, trade-offs, and scalability needs
  • Knowledge of architectural design for frontend applications and fullstack systems
  • 10+ years of experience building software for robotics/enterprise infrastructure
  • Experience with fullstack development (Hack/PHP, GraphQL, SQL)

Preferred Qualifications

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
