Descripción de la vacante:

Buscamos un(a) Gerente de Planta con sólida trayectoria en entornos de manufactura e industria, capaz de liderar de forma integral una operación productiva de principio a fin. Será responsable de garantizar la continuidad operativa, la seguridad, la calidad, la productividad y la rentabilidad de la planta, gestionando eficientemente toda la cadena de valor, desde el abastecimiento de materias primas hasta la entrega final al cliente.

El principal desafío de la posición será asegurar una operación end-to-end eficiente, sostenible y orientada a resultados, promoviendo la excelencia operacional, la mejora continua y el desarrollo de equipos de alto desempeño.

Responsabilidades:

  • Dirigir integralmente la operación de planta, asegurando una ejecución eficiente de los procesos de abastecimiento, planificación, producción, calidad, almacenamiento y distribución.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares de Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente (EHS), fortaleciendo una cultura preventiva y de cero incidentes.
  • Liderar iniciativas de mejora continua orientadas a incrementar la productividad, optimizar costos y maximizar la eficiencia operativa, mediante metodologías como Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma e ISO 9001.
  • Monitorear y gestionar indicadores clave de desempeño (KPIs) relacionados con productividad, calidad, eficiencia, costos, servicio al cliente y seguridad.
  • Asegurar la disponibilidad de recursos materiales y humanos necesarios para el cumplimiento de los planes de producción y los objetivos del negocio.
  • Liderar, desarrollar y fortalecer a los equipos bajo su responsabilidad, fomentando una cultura de alto desempeño, colaboración, disciplina operativa y enfoque en resultados.

Requisitos:

  • Licenciatura en Ingeniería Industrial, Mecánica, Química o carrera afín.
  • Deseable Maestría en Administración de Empresas (MBA), Operaciones, Manufactura o disciplinas relacionadas.
  • Mínimo cinco años de experiencia como Gerente de Planta en empresas industriales o de manufactura.
  • Experiencia comprobada liderando operaciones de planta de manera integral, incluyendo abastecimiento, producción, calidad, mantenimiento, seguridad y logística de entrega al cliente.
  • Conocimientos sólidos en EHS, Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, Gestión de Calidad e ISO 9001.
  • Dominio de SAP y herramientas avanzadas de análisis en Microsoft Excel.
  • Inglés intermedio-avanzado.
  • Disponibilidad para laborar de forma presencial en Amatitlán o residir en zonas cercanas.
