Location

Charlotte, NC | On-Site

Join our welcoming Charlotte office, where you'll collaborate directly with attorneys, build strong professional relationships, and play an essential role in our daily operations.

Note

Candidates must have 1+ year of civil litigation paralegal experience and be available to work on-site in Charlotte, NC. Experience in commercial or construction litigation is a plus, but not required.

Job Description

  • Support attorneys in managing civil litigation cases from initiation through resolution.
  • Prepare and organize pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and other legal materials.
  • Assist with discovery, document production, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Maintain case files, manage important deadlines, and coordinate court filings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, and outside parties.
  • Conduct legal research and help prepare case summaries and litigation materials.
  • Collaborate with our legal team to keep cases organized, efficient, and moving forward.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of civil litigation paralegal experience required.
  • Experience preparing litigation documents and supporting discovery.
  • Familiarity with court filings, legal procedures, and case management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Experience in commercial litigation, construction litigation, or North Carolina court procedures is a plus.
