Job Description

Facility Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of accommodation facilities, including maintenance, cleaning, and security.
  • Ensure all accommodations meet health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the facilities are in good condition and address any issues promptly.

Occupancy Management:

  • Assign rooms or housing units to employees or guests based on availability and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of occupancy and ensure efficient use of space.
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, and room transfers as needed.

Staff Supervision:

  • Manage and supervise accommodation staff, including cleaners, maintenance personnel, and security staff.
  • Provide training and support to ensure high service standards.
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff performance.

Budget and Inventory Management:

  • Manage budgets for accommodation operations, including utilities, repairs, and supplies.
  • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain inventory of furniture, appliances, and other assets within the accommodations.

Resident Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Foster a positive living environment and ensure residents are satisfied with their accommodations.
  • Enforce accommodation policies and handle any violations diplomatically.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational policies related to health, safety, and fire prevention.
  • Conduct safety drills and ensure all safety equipment is functional and accessible.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on occupancy, maintenance, and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident details, incidents, and inventory.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accommodation management, hospitality, or facility management. Experience managing large-scale employee accommodations is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management software and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle conflicts diplomatically.
