About the Company and Role

We are looking for a Client Manager to join our client, a financial company based in Almaty.

This role focuses on day-to-day communication with clients and providing a high level of service throughout their interactions with the company. You will serve as a key point of contact for private clients and small businesses, supporting standard operations, answering questions, and coordinating requests with internal teams.

The role combines direct client interaction with middle-office responsibilities, with approximately 70% of the focus on client communication and 30% on internal coordination and operational tasks.

This position also offers a long-term opportunity to grow with the retail business and potentially develop into a leadership role within the retail direction.

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan (full-time, office-based).

What kind of qualifications we are looking for:

  • Experience working directly with clients, preferably in customer service, sales, or financial services;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Professional business correspondence skills;
  • Ability to explain information clearly and communicate effectively with different clients;
  • Strong client service mindset and a friendly, professional approach;
  • Attention to detail, responsibility, and responsiveness;
  • Ability to handle multiple client requests and follow them through to resolution;
  • Basic understanding of finance and interest in financial products. Deep financial expertise or previous fintech experience is not required;
  • Ability to identify client needs and relevant solutions will be an advantage;
  • Fluency in Russian, Kazakh, and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients daily by phone, email, Telegram, and WhatsApp;
  • Receive, process, and follow up on client requests;
  • Provide clear and complete information about products, services, and operations;
  • Maintain professional business correspondence;
  • Respond to client questions and help resolve issues promptly;
  • Coordinate client requests with internal teams and monitor their progress;
  • Keep track of client requests and ensure they are handled within agreed timelines;
  • Build long-term and trusted relationships with clients;
  • Identify client needs and suggest relevant products and solutions.
