The posting

As a Corporate Accounting & Tax Intern at RRS Group, you will gain hands-on experience supporting accounting, financial reporting, tax, and corporate finance activities. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real business projects while developing an understanding of financial reporting, technical accounting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and financial documentation.

This internship is designed for students who are analytical, detail-oriented, curious, and interested in building a career in accounting, finance, tax, or real estate finance.

What You'll Do

Assist with periodic financial reporting and preparation of financial statement support. Support accounting research and technical accounting projects. Assist with financial reporting processes, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Prepare and maintain tax workpapers and documentation supporting tax compliance and reporting. Assist with tax-related documentation, filings, audits, and information requests. Support the preparation and organization of investor and stakeholder tax documentation. Maintain accurate accounting and tax tracking information and supporting documentation. Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Assist with data gathering and analysis for accounting and tax projects. Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Development, Property Management, and other business teams. Support special projects and process-improvement initiatives throughout the internship. Help ensure financial information is organized, accurate, complete, and properly documented.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team. Strong interest in accounting, finance, tax, or real estate.
