Reconocida compañía colombiana en acelerada expansión global, especializada en la formulación y fabricación de snacks tropicales bajo modelo de marca propia para importantes cadenas de retail en mercados internacionales como Norteamérica y Europa, está en búsqueda de su Director(a) de Operaciones y Planta en Cali.

Reportando directamente a la Gerencia General, sus principales responsabilidades serán:

¿Qué harás en esta posición?

  • Liderar integralmente las áreas operativas de Producción, Calidad, Mantenimiento, Compras, Comercio Exterior, Almacén y Mejora Continua, coordinando a sus jefaturas.
  • Mantener presencia constante y disciplina en piso, asegurando el cumplimiento estricto de procedimientos estandarizados (POE), Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (BPM) y normativas internacionales de inocuidad alimentaria (como FSSC 22000).
  • Alinear prioridades interdepartamentales, gestionar indicadores clave (costo, tiempos, calidad, eficiencia y seguridad) y resolver oportunamente cuellos de botella para garantizar el cumplimiento de los programas de exportación.
  • Gestionar con asertividad y carisma el cambio organizacional, mitigando la resistencia en áreas administrativas/operativas y promoviendo una cultura de responsabilidad y mejora continua.
  • Respaldar con versatilidad y sentido práctico las tareas administrativas y de soporte de las áreas cuando la operación lo requiera por alta demanda o necesidad de recursos.
  • Conducir proyectos estratégicos de la operación, tales como la estabilización de los módulos productivos del ERP y la optimización de costos vs. productividad en la cadena de abastecimiento agrícola clave de la empresa.

Para lograr cumplir a cabalidad con la posición, es muy importante que cuentes con estas características:

¿Qué deberías tener previamente?

  • Formación profesional en Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería de Alimentos, Ingeniería de Producción, Ingeniería Agroindustrial o carreras afines.
  • Experiencia comprobada liderando plantas de manufactura u operaciones en la industria de alimentos.
  • Liderazgo con carácter y cercanía: capacidad demostrada para tomar decisiones con firmeza, movilizar equipos multidisciplinarios y gestionar eficazmente la resistencia al cambio.
  • Perfil práctico y orientado a la acción (hands-on): persona que disfrute estar en planta, que resuelva en el día a día y que no tenga reparo en apoyar gestiones administrativas cuando sea necesario.
  • Conocimiento en gestión y seguimiento de indicadores operacionales, sistemas ERP en entornos productivos y metodologías de mejora continua.
  • Disponibilidad total para radicarse en Cali
