Nuestro cliente es una compañía de software B2B con producto propio, nacida como spin-off del área tecnológica de un grupo empresarial colombiano grande y diversificado. La organización se encuentra en un momento clave: pasar de operar como soporte tecnológico a consolidarse como una empresa de software productiva, escalable y rentable, con capacidad de crecimiento tanto dentro del grupo como hacia mercado privado y público.

El negocio ya funciona y tiene tracción real. El desafío está en ordenar, profesionalizar y escalar la operación de desarrollo, elevando productividad, calidad, experiencia de usuario y foco en rentabilidad, sin perder la mentalidad ágil de startup.

En este contexto, buscamos un/a Gerente General con fuerte ADN tecnológico, capaz de integrar visión de negocio con liderazgo técnico y operativo.

Propósito del cargo

Dirigir estratégica y operativamente la compañía, asegurando su crecimiento sostenible, rentabilidad y posicionamiento competitivo, transformando el desarrollo de software en una fábrica medible, eficiente y escalable.

¿Qué harás en esta posición?

Dirección estratégica y de negocio

  • Definir y ejecutar la estrategia corporativa, tecnológica y comercial de la compañía.
  • Establecer una visión clara de crecimiento alineada con tendencias del mercado tecnológico.
  • Priorizar inversiones en producto, innovación, talento y capacidades organizacionales.
  • Liderar la expansión hacia mercados privados y públicos, con foco inicial en LatAm.
  • Representar a la compañía ante Junta Directiva, clientes estratégicos y aliados.

Liderazgo operativo y tecnológico

  • Liderar integralmente la operación de desarrollo de software.
  • Diseñar e implementar métricas claras de productividad (velocidad, calidad, retrabajos y tiempos de entrega).Estructurar y optimizar el ciclo completo de software: levantamiento funcional, diseño, desarrollo, QA, implementación y soporte.
  • Profesionalizar la fábrica de software (roles, responsabilidades, flujos y estándares).
  • Elevar el estándar de UX y experiencia de usuario.
  • Crear y estructurar el equipo de ciberseguridad.
  • Impulsar la adopción de tecnologías emergentes (IA, cloud y automatización).

Gobierno, control y relación con stakeholders

  • Dar visibilidad clara y periódica a la Junta Directiva sobre avances, costos, eficiencia y oportunidades de mejora.
  • Asegurar control financiero, eficiencia operativa y foco en rentabilidad (EBITDA).

Liderazgo de personas y cultura

  • Liderar equipos multidisciplinarios y multigeneracionales de alto desempeño.
  • Desarrollar, estructurar y escalar talento técnico y de liderazgo.
  • Promover una cultura de cercanía, aprendizaje continuo y orientación a resultados.

Equipo a liderar

Equipo inicial estimado entre 20 y 30 personas, con proyección de crecimiento, incluyendo desarrollo, implementación, soporte y ciberseguridad.

¿Qué deberías tener previamente?

  • Formación profesional en Ingeniería de Sistemas, Software, Electrónica o afines.
  • Más de 10 años de experiencia en tecnología o desarrollo de software.
  • Trayectoria comprobada en roles directivos o de liderazgo senior.
  • Experiencia liderando equipos grandes y operaciones de desarrollo.
  • Participación en diseño, lanzamiento y escalamiento de productos tecnológicos.
  • Experiencia en casas de software, SaaS B2B, ERPs, CRMs o soluciones empresariales.
  • Deseable posgrado en MBA, Transformación Digital o Dirección Tecnológica.

Inglés: plus, no excluyente.
