Reconocida compañía colombiana del sector de empaques flexibles se encuentra en búsqueda de su próximo Gerente Técnico. Esta posición estratégica tendrá como principal reto construir, estructurar y liderar el área técnica desde su visión integral, impulsando la gestión técnica, la innovación y el desarrollo de materiales, formulaciones y productos.

Buscamos un perfil con sólida capacidad de gestión y más de 10 años de trayectoria que asegure la optimización de resinas y blends, el alto desempeño de las soluciones de empaque, la negociación técnica con proveedores internacionales (EE. UU. y Europa) y el acompañamiento directo a clientes clave.

¿Cuáles serán tus principales funciones y retos?

  • Diseñar, estructurar y consolidar el área técnica, definiendo metodologías de trabajo, procesos clave e indicadores de gestión (KPIs).
  • Dirigir y desarrollar al equipo técnico a su cargo, promoviendo una cultura de innovación, alto desempeño y mejora continua.
  • Alinear la estrategia técnica con los objetivos globales de negocio y la capacidad operativa de la compañía.
  • Liderar la evaluación, homologación y negociación técnica de materias primas con proveedores globales, principalmente en Estados Unidos y Europa (EU).
  • Identificar y desarrollar nuevas alternativas de resinas, aditivos y tecnologías para fortalecer el portafolio y garantizar la continuidad tecnológica del negocio.
  • Acompañar técnicamente al equipo comercial en la atención y fidelización de clientes clave.
  • Responder a los requerimientos, homologaciones técnicas y desarrollo de soluciones personalizadas para los clientes en mercados nacionales e internacionales.
  • Liderar el desarrollo, formulación y optimización de resinas y blends (especialmente enfocado en Polietileno - PE y Polipropileno - PP).
  • Encabezar proyectos estratégicos orientados a la optimización de formulaciones, reducción de costos y mejora del desempeño y calidad de los empaques.
  • Brindar soporte técnico especializado a las áreas de Producción, Calidad, Compras y Comercial para la resolución de contingencias relacionadas con materiales, formulaciones y procesamiento.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de calidad, inocuidad y certificaciones técnicas aplicables a la industria de empaques.

¿Qué requisitos debes cumplir?

  • Ingeniería Química, Química o carreras afines.
  • Valorable posgrado, maestría o especialización en Gestión de Proyectos, Polímeros, Ciencia de Materiales o Administración.

Experiencia y Conocimientos:

  • Mínimo 10 años de experiencia consolidada en la industria de plásticos, polímeros, resinas, empaques flexibles o transformación de materiales.
  • Experiencia previa liderando equipos y capacidad comprobada para construir, estructurar y escalar áreas técnicas.
  • Experiencia sólida en formulación de resinas, desarrollo de blends, conocimiento profundo de polietileno (PE), polipropileno (PP) y caracterización de polímeros.
  • Experiencia en manejo, negociación y homologación de proveedores internacionales (EE. UU. / Europa).
  • Inglés Avanzado (C1/B2 alto) e indispensable para mantener comunicación fluida con proveedores globales y clientes internacionales.

  • Ubicación: Cartagena, Colombia – Zona Industrial.
  • Modalidad: Presencial.
