Nuestro cliente es un fondo global de inversión de impacto enfocado en transformar el acceso al crédito a través de estructuras de deuda innovadoras. Trabaja con fintechs altamente tecnológicas en mercados emergentes, impulsando inclusión financiera a escala institucional.

Su enfoque no es transaccional de corto plazo; es construir relaciones de largo plazo con plataformas de crédito que demuestren desempeño sólido, disciplina crediticia y potencial de impacto real.

Sobre el rol

Buscamos un Investment Analyst que quiera ir más allá del M&A tradicional y profundizar en el análisis de desempeño real de activos de crédito.

Este rol no se centra en LBOs o procesos puntuales de transacción. Está enfocado en:

  • Evaluar desempeño de cartera
  • Analizar retornos ajustados por riesgo
  • Entender métricas crediticias profundas
  • Construir estructuras de deuda robustas
  • Convertir grandes volúmenes de información en decisiones de inversión claras

Es una posición con alta autonomía, exposición directa a founders y C-level de fintechs, y fuerte interacción con equipos globales.

¿Qué harás en esta posición?

  • Realizar análisis financiero y crediticio de nuevas oportunidades y de inversiones existentes.
  • Evaluar carteras de crédito: morosidad, cohortes, pérdidas esperadas, yield, unit economics, comportamiento histórico.
  • Construir y ajustar modelos financieros enfocados en retornos y desempeño de activos (más asset performance que M&A clásico).
  • Sintetizar grandes volúmenes de información (long tail de datos dispersos y no siempre estructurados) en análisis accionables.
  • Elaborar investment memos con criterio propio y recomendaciones claras.
  • Apoyar procesos de estructuración, negociación y ejecución de transacciones de deuda.
  • Interactuar directamente con ejecutivos, founders y equipos financieros de fintechs.
  • Contribuir a la construcción de tesis de inversión en nuevos verticales y mercados.

El perfil que buscamos

  • Experiencia (1–3 años)
  • Banca de inversión, structured credit, debt capital markets, fondos de deuda o fintechs de crédito.
  • Puede venir de IB tradicional si está buscando un entorno menos transaccional y más analítico en profundidad.
  • Experiencia en análisis de carteras de crédito y métricas de riesgo.

Tipo de modelación

  • Sólido en Excel y modelación financiera.
  • Capaz de trabajar con bases de datos amplias y complejas.
  • Ideal experiencia en SQL, Python o herramientas de análisis de datos.
  • Comodidad analizando performance histórico más que solo proyectando escenarios ideales.

Capacidades clave

  • Alta capacidad para manejar información extensa y separar lo relevante de lo accesorio.
  • Pensamiento estructurado y criterio financiero sólido.
  • Autonomía real: capacidad de avanzar sin depender de instrucciones paso a paso.
  • Comodidad interactuando con perfiles senior y defendiendo análisis con argumentos claros.
  • Inglés avanzado (trabajo con equipo global).
