Reconocida compañía del sector de alimentos está en búsqueda de su próximo/a Jefe de Investigación y Desarrollo (I+D) – Categoría Ponqué y Galletas, quien será responsable de liderar el diseño, formulación, desarrollo y escalado industrial de productos, impulsando la innovación, la productividad y la mejora continua del portafolio.

Reportando directamente al Gerente de I+D, tus principales responsabilidades estarán enfocadas en liderar los procesos de investigación, desarrollo, formulación y mejora continua de los productos de las categorías de ponqué y galletas.

¿Qué harás en esta posición?

  • Diseñar, formular y desarrollar productos de las categorías de ponqué y galletas, desde laboratorio hasta escala industrial, cumpliendo con la metodología Stage & Gate.
  • Liderar y acompañar las primeras producciones industriales de nuevos desarrollos, identificando y gestionando posibles novedades del proceso.
  • Desarrollar reformulaciones de productos existentes para implementar planes de ahorro y optimización de costos.
  • Coordinar proyectos de productividad y eficiencia, así como iniciativas de extensión y mejora de la vida útil de los productos.
  • Brindar soporte técnico a manufactura y acompañar a las áreas de Comercio Internacional y Regulatoria en los requerimientos técnicos y documentales para la exportación de productos.

¿Qué deberías tener previamente?

  • Profesional en Ingeniería de Alimentos, Ingeniería Química, Química o carreras afines. Deseable especialización o maestría en ciencias aplicadas, ingeniería o ciencias básicas, así como formación en panadería y/o pastelería.
  • Entre 6 y 7 años de experiencia laboral, con mínimo 4 a 5 años de experiencia específica en funciones relacionadas con investigación y desarrollo.
  • Experiencia en formulación y producción.
  • preferiblemente en entornos de manufactura industrial.
  • Conocimientos en funcionalidad de ingredientes para panificación, sistemas de producción de ponqués y galletas, balance de materia y energía, procesos industriales de panadería y análisis sensorial.

Adicionalmente, es importante contar con manejo de Excel intermedio, Microsoft Office y conocimientos en análisis estadístico de datos, así como habilidades de liderazgo, toma de decisiones, visión de negocio, autogestión e innovación.
