What You'll Do as a Hotel Housekeeping Attendant

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to ensure every guest arrives to a fresh, comfortable, and welcoming space.
  • Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries, coffee supplies, and other guest amenities.
  • Sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and countertops, following hotel cleanliness standards.
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and assigned public areas, including hallways, stairwells, and lobby spaces.
  • Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance concerns and report any issues to management.
  • Maintain organized housekeeping carts, cleaning equipment, and supply areas while following proper safety procedures.
  • Respect guest privacy, follow Do Not Disturb and lost-and-found procedures, and respond courteously to guest requests.
  • Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining La Quinta's cleanliness, safety, and guest service standards.

  • Detail-Oriented: Takes pride in thoroughly cleaning guest rooms and ensuring every space is fresh, comfortable, and ready for guests.
  • Dependable & Efficient: Arrives on time, works productively, and completes assigned rooms without sacrificing quality.
  • Honest & Trustworthy: Respects guest privacy, personal belongings, and hotel policies while maintaining a high level of integrity.
  • Willing to Learn: Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required; we're happy to provide training.
  • Physically Capable: Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Positive & Team-Oriented: Treats guests and coworkers with kindness, works well with others, and takes pride in creating a welcoming hotel experience.
