Politiewerk vraagt om helder, feitelijk en juridisch correct taalgebruik en jij kunt toekomstige politiemedewerkers daarin vormen. Wat ga je doen?

Als docent Beroepstaalvaardigheid (BTV) train je studenten in het taalgebruik dat nodig is voor professioneel politiewerk. Je werkt samen met collega‑docenten, praktijkinstructeurs en opleidingscoördinatoren. Je weken bestaan uit lesgeven, begeleiden, beoordelen en het ontwikkelen van lesmateriaal dat aansluit op actuele politierichtlijnen.

  • Je geeft lessen Nederlandse taal gericht op juridisch taalgebruik en politieterminologie
  • Je traint studenten in het schrijven van processen‑verbaal en rapportages
  • Je begeleidt individuele studenten bij hun taalontwikkeling
  • Je beoordeelt opdrachten op nauwkeurigheid, structuur en juridische correctheid
  • Je ontwikkelt lesmateriaal dat aansluit op actuele werkprocessen binnen de politie
  • Je bespreekt casuïstiek met collega’s om onderwijs en toetsing te verbeteren
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van beroepscommunicatie binnen de opleiding

Waar ga je werken?

Je werkt op één van de politielocaties in Drachten, Utrecht, Leusden, Apeldoorn, Rotterdam of Ossendrecht. De omgeving is een onderwijssetting binnen een beveiligde locatie, met leslokalen, overlegruimtes en digitale leeromgevingen. Per locatie werk je samen met een team van 10–20 docenten en instructeurs. Je valt onder de opleidingscoördinator, met wie je wekelijks afstemt over planning, voortgang en toetsing.

Overlegmomenten met collega‑docenten vinden meerdere keren per week plaats, zowel fysiek als digitaal. TG‑collega’s zijn op de meeste locaties aanwezig binnen andere onderwijs- of ondersteunende rollen. Bezoeken aan het hoofdkantoor in Heerle zijn incidenteel, bijvoorbeeld voor scholing of teamdagen.

Hybride werken is deels mogelijk voor voorbereiding en correctie, maar lessen en toetsing vinden altijd op locatie plaats. Digitale systemen worden gebruikt volgens vaste beveiligingsprotocollen.

Welke skills neem je mee?

  • Afgeronde lerarenopleiding Nederlands (hbo of wo)
  • Ervaring met lesgeven in taal- en schrijfvaardigheid
  • Kennis van juridisch taalgebruik of politieterminologie
  • Vermogen om complexe termen helder en praktisch uit te leggen
  • Nauwkeurigheid, didactische vaardigheden en een coachende houding

Mooi meegenomen (pré)
