Je weet hoe het is om medische zorg te verlenen onder druk. Je kent de realiteit van optreden in het veld, de verantwoordelijkheid die daarbij hoort en het belang van drills die altijd moeten zitten. Misschien mis je nu de structuur, de kameraadschap en het trainen van collega’s die hetzelfde vak verstaan. In deze rol kun je jouw ervaring opnieuw inzetten en direct bijdragen aan het opleiden van militairen die levensreddend moeten kunnen handelen wanneer het erop aankomt.

Wat ga je doen?

De drie weken durende cursus Gewondenhelper op het DGOTC bereidt militairen voor op hun taak: medische hulp verlenen onder de zwaarste omstandigheden. Naast het MARCH‑protocol leren cursisten werken in realistische scenario’s die de druk en dynamiek van operationele inzet nabootsen. Als instructeur begeleid en coach je hen intensief. Je vertaalt jouw ervaring als medic naar duidelijke, toepasbare instructie en helpt cursisten groeien in hun rol binnen hun eenheid.

  • Je geeft praktijkgerichte lessen binnen het MARCH‑protocol
  • Je begeleidt cursisten in realistische scenario’s en oefensituaties
  • Je observeert, corrigeert en coacht op uitvoering, houding en besluitvorming
  • Je draagt bij aan een veilige, professionele en realistische leeromgeving
  • Je werkt samen met collega‑instructeurs aan de kwaliteit van de opleiding

Waar ga je werken?

Je werkt op het DGOTC, waar medische vorming, militaire praktijk en realistische scenario‑training samenkomen. De werkomgeving bestaat uit lesruimtes, oefenterreinen en faciliteiten waar cursisten hun vaardigheden onder druk oefenen. Je werkt binnen een team van instructeurs met een militaire en medische achtergrond. Overlegmomenten zijn gericht op uniformiteit, veiligheid en het verbeteren van het opleidingsprogramma. Bezoeken aan het hoofdkantoor in Heerle vinden plaats wanneer nodig voor afstemming of ondersteuning.\

Welke skills neem je mee?

  • Je hebt een afgeronde militair geneeskundige opleiding van minimaal medic
  • Je beschikt over operationele werkervaring
  • Je kent de werkpraktijk van doelgroepen zoals INF, SOF of CLAS
  • Je kunt kennis en vaardigheden duidelijk en toepasbaar overdragen
  • Je hebt aantoonbare didactische vaardigheden
  • Je hebt de drive om nieuwe militairen te begeleiden en verder te brengen
