Je weet hoe het voelt om te werken met zware wapens, verantwoordelijkheid te dragen voor veiligheid en jonge militairen op te leiden in een vakgebied waar precisie en discipline bepalend zijn. Misschien mis je nu de structuur, de kameraadschap en het trainen van collega’s die dezelfde standaarden hanteren. Dat uitleggen en begeleiden zit nog steeds in je systeem. Binnen de Schiet Training school kun je dat vakmanschap opnieuw inzetten. Via Triangular Group leid je de volgende generatie schutters en wapenbedienaars op.

Wat ga je doen?

De Schiet Training school van het OTCMan verzorgt verschillende wapen en schietopleidingen en in de functie van schietbaanfunctionaris. Binnen de Instructiegroep Zware Wapens werk je met systemen die variëren van HSI‑bereden en driepoot‑affuit tot Remote Controlled Weapon Systems op voertuigen zoals de Bushmaster, Kodiak, Boxer, Manticore en Fennek. Afhankelijk van jouw achtergrond wordt bepaald welke lessen je direct kunt geven en waar je verder in wordt opgeleid. Daarnaast kun je als specialist bijdragen aan projecten, beproevingen en vernieuwingen van wapensystemen.

  • Je verzorgt lessen m.b.t. de .50 en verschillende RCWS systemen
  • Je leidt militairen op in het gebruik van zware wapensystemen
  • Je geeft instructie in de functie van schietbaanfunctionaris
  • Je begeleidt praktijkoefeningen en bewaakt veiligheid en structuur
  • Je werkt samen met collega‑instructeurs binnen de IGZW
  • Je levert inhoudelijke expertise bij projecten en beproevingen

Waar ga je werken?

Je werkt binnen de Instructiegroep Zware Wapens van de Schiet Trainingsschool, onderdeel van het OTCMan. De werkomgeving bestaat uit schietbanen, oefenterreinen, lesruimtes en voertuigen uitgerust met diverse wapensystemen.

Je werkt samen met instructeurs die zelf ruime ervaring hebben op zware wapens en die dezelfde normen en werkcultuur herkennen. Je stemt regelmatig af met een opleidingscoördinator over planning, inhoud en voortgang. Overlegmomenten zijn gericht op uniformiteit, veiligheid en het door ontwikkelen van het lesprogramma. TG‑collega’s zijn op meerdere momenten aanwezig. Bezoeken aan het hoofdkantoor in Heerle vinden incidenteel plaats.

Welke skills neem je mee?

  • Je hebt gewerkt bij Defensie
  • Je beschikt minimaal over de kwalificatie SI .50
  • Je hebt ervaring of affiniteit met lesgeven als (onder)officier
  • Je voelt je thuis in een opleidersrol
  • Je zoekt opnieuw de samenhorigheid, dynamiek en het vakmanschap van je Defensietijd
