WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing driving planning algorithms to control vehicles in complex and sensitive surrounding environments
  • Realizing safer and more secure autonomous driving systems and driver assistance systems through collaboration across different functions
  • Developing efficient real-time ADAS applications for embedded systems
  • Becoming familiar with cutting-edge vehicle dynamics control and driving planning technologies, and incorporating them into feasible application software for real-time platforms
  • Evaluating application functionality and performance using data acquired by test vehicles or vehicle simulators
  • To understand and align with the customer’s requirements, and define the software requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering: software, electrical, mechatronic, robotics, industrial, aerospace or equivalent engineering field
  • Experience in coding with C, C++, or MATLAB/Simulink
  • Work experience of 1 to 3 years in software development for productization
  • Native Level Japanese (N1 or higher)
  • More than 2 years of work experience

NICE TO HAVES

  • Work experience in the automotive industry
  • Work experience in ADAS driving planning technology or vehicle dynamics control technology (e.g. ACC, AEB.)
  • Experience in developing the real-time application optimized for the embedded system
  • Experience with agile software management tools
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python)
  • Experience in developing with Linux
  • Experience with coding based on the following conventions: CERT-C, MISRA-C
