The posting

Where you will be

East Coast or Great Lakes preferred (near our existing boats). Home-based, with travel across the US.

Who you will report to General Manager USA, with technical direction from our service lead in Sweden

When you will start by 1 March 2027

What you will do

  • Commission new boats at dealers and owners, and sign off before handover
  • Diagnose and repair high-voltage, propulsion, charging and software issues on site
  • Train dealer and marina technicians, and certify them as X Shore service partners
  • Run warranty cases from first report to closed, with parts ordered from Sweden
  • Keep a service log per boat and report open issues weekly

What we look for

  • 5+ years as a marine or EV technician; high-voltage certification or willing to get it in your first 90 days
  • Comfortable with diagnostics software, CAN bus and battery systems
  • Calm with an owner on a dock who wants an answer now
  • Able to travel 50% and to teach others what you know
  • Authorized to work in the US and holding a valid driver's licence

What we offer

Salary plus a bonus tied to warranty turnaround and partner certifications. Travel, tools and training paid. Direct line to the engineers who built the boat.

About X Shore

X Shore builds electric boats in Nyköping, Sweden. Our boats are in daily use with owners, rental fleets and hotel partners across Europe, the US and the Middle East. We are a small company growing its dealer network in 2027.
