Accountant - Business Controller (m/v/x) | Regio Borgloon - Limburg

Robert Half is op zoek naar een Accountant - Business Controller (m/v/x) voor een groeiend fruit- en handelsbedrijf in de regio Borgloon.

Onze klant is een dynamisch KMO actief in de teelt en handel van premium berries, met levering aan toonaangevende supermarktketens. Het bedrijf telt 15 vaste medewerkers op kantoor en werkt met een sterk seizoensgebonden operationeel model. De komende periode investeert de organisatie fors in nieuwe infrastructuur en verdere digitalisering van haar processen. Je werkt nauw samen met de zaakvoerders en neemt geleidelijk een sleutelrol op binnen finance én operations.

Volgende taken behoren tot jouw pakket als Accountant - Business Controller (m/v/x):

  • Je staat in voor de volledige boekhouding van meerdere verweven entiteiten: verwerking van aankoop- en verkoopfacturen, BTW-aangiften, vennootschapsbelasting en de maand- en jaarafsluiting in samenwerking met een extern boekhoudkantoor;
  • Je bewaakt de kostprijsberekening van aangekocht fruit via standard costing en volgt de financiële rentabiliteit per productcategorie en perceel nauwgezet op;
  • Je ondersteunt de payroll-opvolging van een groot en divers personeelsbestand, waaronder seizoenarbeiders die worden verlond op uur- én kilo-basis;
  • Je bouwt en onderhoudt financiële rapporteringen via Power BI, gekoppeld aan operationele data zoals oogstopbrengsten, uitval per variëteit en personeelsefficiëntie per activiteit;
  • Je draagt bij aan de financiële planningscyclus: budgettering, forecasting en rolling forecasts, met rapportering aan de zaakvoerders;
  • Je coördineert de voorbereiding van circa 18 audits per jaar, waaronder teelt-, traceerbaarheids-, sociale en veiligheidsaudits, alsook klantenspecifieke lastenboeken;
  • Je bewaakt de correctheid en betrouwbaarheid van data in het ERP-systeem (AgroManager) en signaleert fouten proactief;
  • Je denkt actief mee over de optimalisatie van bestaande processen en de implementatie van nieuwe digitale workflows;
  • Je fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor operationele collega's bij financiële en administratieve vragen en bouwt zo een brug tussen finance en de werkvloer.

Jouw profiel:

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een economische richting;
  • Je brengt minimaal 5 tot 10 jaar relevante ervaring mee binnen accounting, controlling of een vergelijkbare financiële functie, bij voorkeur in een KMO-omgeving;
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van boekhoudrecht en fiscaalrecht;
  • Je werkt vlot met Excel op gevorderd niveau (draaitabellen, analyses) en hebt ervaring met boekhoudpakketten; kennis van Exact Online en/of Power BI is een sterke troef;
  • Je communicueert vlot in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels;
  • Je staat stevig in je schoenen: je neemt standpunten in, stelt kritische vragen en kan omgaan met de dynamiek van een familiaal bedrijf;
  • Je bent hands-on ingesteld en schrikt er niet voor terug om de werkvloer op te gaan en de operationele context écht te begrijpen;
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en oplossingsgericht, ook in een omgeving waar niet alles vooraf vastligt;
  • Je beschikt over de nodige maturiteit om te schakelen tussen uiteenlopende vraagstukken en prioriteiten te stellen in een seizoensgebonden omgeving;
  • Affiniteit met de land- en tuinbouwsector is een pluspunt.
