The posting

Voor een internationale technologieonderneming die detectieoplossingen ontwikkelt en produceert, zoeken wij een Accounting & Tax Manager. Je leidt het accountingteam en bewaakt de betrouwbaarheid van financiële informatie, de interne controles en de naleving van boekhoudkundige en fiscale verplichtingen.

Je rapporteert aan de Finance Director en bent een aanspreekpunt voor lokale en internationale stakeholders. Je combineert technische expertise en teamcoaching met procesverbetering en ondersteunt de Finance Director bij strategische financiële vraagstukken.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Leiden van maand-, halfjaar- en jaarafsluitingen en zorgen voor tijdige rapportering volgens Belgian GAAP, IFRS en groepsrichtlijnen.
  • Toezien op alle boekhoudkundige activiteiten en begeleiden van complexe accountingvraagstukken.
  • Bewaken van fiscale compliance, waaronder vennootschapsbelasting, btw, transfer pricing en overige directe en indirecte belastingen.
  • Onderhouden van contacten met externe adviseurs en belastingautoriteiten.
  • Versterken van interne controles en ondersteunen van risicobeheer en goed bestuur.
  • Coördineren van interne en externe audits en opvolgen van bevindingen en aanbevelingen.
  • Verbeteren, automatiseren en digitaliseren van financiële processen.
  • Aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van het accountingteam.
  • Ondersteunen van de Finance Director bij strategische onderwerpen en de verdere ontwikkeling van de financiële afdeling.
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in Finance, Accountancy, Fiscaliteit of een verwante richting.
  • Je hebt minstens acht jaar ervaring in accounting en fiscaliteit binnen een internationale en/of industriële omgeving.
  • Je hebt bewezen ervaring met het aansturen en ontwikkelen van een team.
  • Je beheerst Belgian GAAP, IFRS, financiële rapportering en afsluitingsprocessen.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van vennootschapsbelasting, btw, transfer pricing en fiscale compliance.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met interne controles, risicobeheer en governance.
  • Je vertaalt complexe financiële onderwerpen naar heldere aanbevelingen voor de organisatie.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Frans en beheerst het Engels op professioneel niveau.
  • Je werkt integer, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en beschikt over een goed beoordelingsvermogen.
  • Je durft bestaande werkwijzen te bevragen, begeleidt veranderingen en bouwt sterke samenwerkingsrelaties op.
